“You damned black-hearted prince, hurry up and save me! If I die, I’ll definitely come back as a vengeful ghost and haunt you every day, you lame bastard!” Jin Luoluo shouted through gritted teeth.
“Hehe, don’t be afraid, beauty. I’m coming…” one of the men laughed lecherously.
Three men pounced on her at once. In that split second, however, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! Three golden arrows shot through the air simultaneously, striking all three men in the thighs with lightning speed.
Blood splattered across the deck.
The three lustful men immediately collapsed at Jin Luoluo’s feet like dead fish.
At a critical moment, that lame prince was actually pretty reliable. His archery was unbelievably cool!
Jin Luoluo patted her wildly pounding chest, suppressing her nausea, then kicked away one of the men writhing and wailing at her feet.
“Hongye, are you alright? Ahhh!”
The deck was a complete mess. Some men were chasing them, while others were fighting each other to stop their rivals from getting her first. The situation was so chaotic that it was impossible to tell friend from foe.
Looking around frantically, Jin Luoluo suddenly spotted a richly dressed young master pinning Hongye to the ground and grabbing her by the collar.
Aaah! He dares bully my maid? He’s asking for death!
Jin Luoluo delivered a vicious kick to the young master’s backside, then jumped onto his back. She punched, kicked, yanked his hair, scratched with her nails—using every dirty trick imaginable.
“You dare bully Hongye? I’ll beat your teeth out, make you jump off a cliff and kill yourself! Aaah! Go die!”
The young master was beaten until stars danced before his eyes. Blood poured from his nose as he struggled desperately, but he couldn’t shake her off.
“Miss! Behind you!” Hongye cried out, eyes wide with alarm.
Jin Luoluo suddenly felt a dark shadow loom over her. A man’s obscene laughter sounded beside her ear, and a pair of iron-clawed hands seized her shoulders and yanked her away.
“Little beauty, I finally caught you. You’re fiery enough to be interesting. This young master likes that type. Let me have a look at that pretty face of yours.”
Those hands abruptly tore away Jin Luoluo’s veil.
Instantly, the world fell silent.
The fighting stopped.
Every eye became fixed on the young woman as her veil drifted to the deck.
Her eyes sparkled like brilliant morning stars. Her willow-leaf brows carried a faintly intoxicating grace. Her cheeks were as delicate as spring flower petals, and her rosy lips parted like blossoms touched by morning dew.
It was a face of such breathtaking beauty that it could topple kingdoms and conquer cities.
Even heavenly maidens could not compare, for immortals lacked that unique blend of purity and seductive charm that she possessed. Nor did they have her lively intelligence and mischievous, quick-witted spirit.
