TFWYH – Chapter 193 Skin Grafting Surgery

Transmigrated as the Villainous Fat Wife of a Yandere Husband4 min read193 of 890

Early the next morning, Doctor Li came to pick up Tang Wan.

The two of them went together to the Su residence once again.

Following Tang Wan’s instructions, the woman had already fasted from both food and water since midnight.

Tang Wan asked Su Yuan to prepare a clean room for the operation, and once everything was ready, she had the woman brought in to begin the skin graft surgery.

Before leaving home, she had already packed all the necessary medicine and medical supplies into her small basket.

Doctor Li had never seen such strange-looking instruments and bottles before — his curiosity was practically overflowing.

Tang Wan shot him a glance. “In a bit, remember to wipe my sweat, and make sure to disinfect everything properly.”

“I know!” Doctor Li answered seriously. He could be very reliable when it came to medical work — although…

As he looked at the odd little bottle in his hand — which Tang Wan called disinfectant — he couldn’t help wanting to study it.

Soon, the operation began. Tang Wan administered an anesthetic, and before long, the woman drifted into sleep.

Just before losing consciousness, she whispered to Tang Wan, “My name is Su Qing. If I… recover from this… then from today on, you shall be… my god-daughter…”

Tang Wan: …

I really didn’t come here to get another mother!

Outside the room, Su Yuan and Madam Su waited anxiously. Su Wanting knew Tang Wan was treating her aunt and behaved very sensibly, sitting quietly by without fuss.

Not only that — seeing Madam Su’s worried face, she tried to comfort her. “Sister Wan is amazing. Aunt will definitely regain her beauty — just like before.”

“Yes…” Madam Su squeezed her hand, though her gaze remained fixed on the tightly closed door.

No sound came from inside. The servants around them didn’t even dare breathe too loudly — the silence itself was unnerving.

Su Yuan was deeply worried as well.

His younger sister had always been proud and strong-willed. If she couldn’t recover, those festering hatreds inside her heart would one day crush her completely.

Time ticked by.

One hour.

Two hours.

Just as the family was becoming frantic, the door finally opened.

Tang Wan emerged, looking exhausted. In contrast, Doctor Li appeared bright-eyed and exhilarated.

“How is she, Madam Ling?” Su Yuan rushed forward at once, followed closely by Madam Su and Su Wanting.

Tang Wan nodded. “Everything went smoothly. I’ll come every five days to change her dressings. In a month, she should be fully recovered.”

“That’s wonderful! Truly wonderful!” Su Yuan laughed heartily in relief.

Madam Su, overjoyed, clasped Tang Wan’s hands, thanking her over and over.

Tang Wan then handed Su Yuan several medicines, explained their dosages, and wrote out a few medicinal diet recipes for Su Qing’s recovery.

Su Yuan carefully took note of everything and ordered the butler to bring out a thousand taels of gold as payment.

Tang Wan, of course, couldn’t carry that much, so she asked for it to be exchanged into silver notes instead.

Su Yuan immediately agreed and also tried to persuade her to stay for a meal.

That, however, was unnecessary.

Tang Wan cast a brief glance at a maid waiting by the door and said meaningfully, “I’ll pass on the meal. Just make sure to take good care of Miss Su Qing — there mustn’t be any accidents.”

Su Yuan, an old fox if ever there was one, followed her gaze toward the maid. His expression didn’t change, but he nodded slightly. “Many thanks, Madam Ling.”

After saying that, Tang Wan left with Doctor Li.

As for that maid — she didn’t really know what was going on, but she could feel a familiar malice in the air.

Once the two departed, Su Yuan immediately ordered that the maid be seized.

The girl was completely dumbfounded, crying out that she was innocent — that she hadn’t done anything!

And she wasn’t lying — she truly hadn’t done anything.

Not because she didn’t want to, but because… she simply hadn’t had the chance yet.

But Su Yuan didn’t believe a word of it. After a round of harsh interrogation, the maid confessed through tears — she was one of the Crown Prince’s people.

But she really hadn’t done anything yet… she sobbed and sobbed…
