“Go to sleep.” Chu Jinhan turned off the light beside him and naturally got into bed.

Song Yunfei lay back down absentmindedly.

However, not long after, Quanquan ran under the bed and began whimpering. Gradually, it started barking.

“What is it barking for?” Song Yunfei quickly nudged the man beside her. If it kept barking, it would disturb the neighbors.

Chu Jinhan got up and turned on the bedside lamp.

Song Yunfei also poked her head out to look, and only then did she see the little one pawing at the bed, trying to jump up.

“How did it get down there?”

“Oh.” Song Yunfei didn’t think much of it and turned her head to glance at the man beside her… at his abs.

They were clearer in the daytime.

But after just a couple of looks, he stopped her from looking further—he got up and left the bed, leaving her with only his broad back.

Chu Jinhan went to prepare breakfast, while Song Yunfei took Quanquan outside to relieve itself.

It was important to develop the habit of going outside to the bathroom; otherwise, if it stayed home all day and couldn’t hold it, it would definitely relieve itself indoors.

After a simple breakfast, as usual, Chu Jinhan gave her a ride to work.

Although the morning traffic was heavy, electric scooters didn’t get stuck in traffic, and they arrived near her workplace quickly.

Song Yunfei was chatting casually with Chu Jinhan when suddenly, a deafening horn blared from behind.

It sounded almost right against her back, startling her so much that she immediately grabbed onto Chu Jinhan.

Although her boyfriend might be fine, she was afraid of causing him trouble—and of being dumped because of it.

The two women pushed and shoved each other, almost coming to blows.

Their actions caused passing vehicles to slow down, swerve aside, and honk their horns. Some even stopped on purpose to watch the drama unfold.

At this moment, Li Shan’s “catfish-looking” boyfriend also got out of the car and approached Chu Jinhan.
