Zhuang Hao’s wedding could be called the greatest event in Yuanguo in hundreds of years.

Guests arrived from across the lands and seas, and even the sovereign of Yuanguo attended the ceremony.

Yet among the extraordinary guests, even the sovereign didn’t seem particularly notable.

Zhuang Hao was radiant with joy, pulling Qi Shaorong along to greet the guests personally.

All the guests paid their respects to the two with admiration.

Zhuang Qian busily helped receive the many guests, running around non-stop, and only barely found a moment to rest.

“Your brother’s wedding is really extravagant,” Shen Yuan couldn’t help but comment.

Zhuang Qian nodded and replied, “Qi Shaorong wanted to keep it simple, but my brother still turned it into something like this.”

Looking at Zhuang Hao weaving through the crowd with a face full of pride, Shen Yuan remarked, “Your brother seems really happy.”

He secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Now that Qi Shaorong and Zhuang Hao were married, perhaps that broken engagement from years ago could finally be laid to rest. It hadn’t been easy.

Suddenly, Shen Yuan spotted something. “Did your brother invite the Yi family?”

Zhuang Qian nodded. “Yes. As one of the four great families, my brother couldn’t exactly not invite them.”

Shen Yuan rubbed his forehead. Zhuang Hao had sent the same standard invitation to both the Yi and Qi families—talk about treating everyone equally.

“That side’s the Sea Clan’s delegation. So many came! A lot of high-level leaders from the Sea Dragon Clan too,” Zhuang Qian said excitedly.

Looking toward them, Shen Yuan raised an eyebrow. The Sea Dragon Clan’s delegation was full of powerful individuals—their oppressive aura could be felt even from afar.

Members of the Commerce Alliance sat with them, seemingly hitting it off well.

After a long, busy day of wedding festivities, Qi Shaorong felt thoroughly exhausted.

However, the mountain of lavish gifts helped ease his weary heart.

Later, Zhuang Hao lay in bed, hugging and kissing Qi Shaorong, his hands roaming all over him—clearly very excited.

Looking at Zhuang Hao’s flushed cheeks, Qi Shaorong silently thought: This inexperienced fool really doesn’t know what he’s doing.

“What are you doing?” Qi Shaorong asked.

“Getting in bed! I’ve waited forever for this,” Zhuang Hao replied eagerly.

“Do you even know how?” Qi Shaorong questioned.

Zhuang Hao’s face turned bright red. “O-of course I do! It’s a man’s instinct!”

Qi Shaorong: “……”

Zhuang Hao, seemingly far too pent-up or simply too nervous for his first time, didn’t last long at all—earning a laugh from Qi Shaorong, who only provoked him more. Ashamed and frustrated, Zhuang Hao became determined to make up for it and began enthusiastically proving himself. Though his skill was lacking, his stamina was… impressive.

The wedding celebrations lasted seven whole days before finally coming to an end.

Yi Fan looked at a lazily lounging Qi Shaorong and teased, “Young Master, how was Zhuang Shao’s performance?”

Qi Shaorong chuckled and said, “So-so.”

Zhuang Hao, that idiot, had been too excited at first and finished too quickly. After being laughed at once, he’d become determined to redeem himself and had started showing off like mad. His technique wasn’t great, but his energy? Nearly endless. It was exhausting.

Yi Fan: “……”

“Have all the guests left?” Qi Shaorong asked.

Yi Fan nodded. “Yes. Just a few days ago, you could run into a level-nine expert just walking down the street. It had the capital’s residents on edge. But now, everyone’s gradually dispersed.”

Qi Shaorong leaned his chin on his hand and muttered, “It’s gotten quiet all of a sudden… feels a bit strange.”

Just as Yi Fan was about to speak, a haughty laugh rang out.

A black-robed figure appeared at the door. “Finally found you. You’ve been hard to track down!”

Yi Fan looked over and his expression darkened immediately. The newcomer gave off an incredibly dangerous vibe—even stronger than the saint-level guests Zhuang Hao had invited.

Qi Shaorong stepped in front of Yi Fan. “Senior, may I ask your purpose in coming here?”

The black-robed figure smiled. “I came for you.”

Yi Fan stayed on high alert, but the man moved in a flash, grabbing Qi Shaorong by the shoulder. The two vanished into a swirl of black smoke.

Zhuang Hao rushed in moments later, spotting the injured Yi Fan and Mu Tingxuan collapsed on the floor. “Did someone come just now?!”

Yi Fan coughed up blood. “A black-robed man came. He took Shaorong.”

“Damn it. So he still came…”

“Zhuang Shao, do you know who that was?” Yi Fan asked.

Zhuang Hao’s face was grim as he nodded. “Someone I encountered in Dilan City. Likely the Nether Dragon, Hei Jia.”

“The Nether Dragon? I thought he perished along with the Light Dragon King?” Yi Fan exclaimed.

Zhuang Hao shook his head. “No, he’s still alive.”

“Why did he take Shaorong?” Yi Fan asked, confused.

“I don’t know. Back in Dilan City, I already had a bad feeling that he had his eyes on Shaorong. That’s why I rushed to get him out of there. I didn’t expect him to track us all the way to Yuanguo,” Zhuang Hao said through clenched teeth.

Yi Fan asked in a daze, “What will he do to the young master?”

Zhuang Hao shook his head again. “No idea. What’s urgent now is figuring out where he took Qi Shaorong.”

High in the clouds, a massive black dragon soared through the air, icy wind howling around them. Clutched in the dragon’s claws, Qi Shaorong felt utterly miserable.

Yi Fan had previously warned that something might go wrong with the wedding. Qi Shaorong had thought he was just being paranoid. Turns out the wedding went fine—it was after it ended that disaster struck.

Looking at the massive creature flying through the sky, Qi Shaorong didn’t dare move a muscle.

He sighed deeply, thinking: If I tried to escape now and fell from this height, I’d be crushed into pieces.

The freezing wind whipped his face, making it sting. Gritting his teeth, Qi Shaorong cursed silently: This damned dragon—why the hell is he flying so fast? Is he in a hurry to reincarnate?! The wind’s unbearable!

Soon, word of Qi Shaorong being abducted spread like wildfire.

But as the news passed from mouth to mouth, the story became increasingly distorted. Some rumors claimed Qi Shaorong had eloped with another saint-level expert. Others said Zhuang Hao’s performance was lacking, so Qi Shaorong dumped him.

Zhuang Hao, however, immediately activated their soul contract and set out in pursuit.

Jin Kingdom.

Qi Heng frowned, feeling uneasy and restless.

Zuo Yunfei looked at Qi Heng and said, “Don’t worry.”

Qi Heng sighed deeply. “According to Zhuang Hao, the one who abducted Young Master Qi is a Saint-level expert, and not just recently ascended — a Saint who has been at that level for many years.”

Zuo Yunfei raised an eyebrow. “Zhuang Shao really has it tough!”

“Back then, someone inexplicably interrupted and broke off his marriage. Now that he finally married her, only a few days have passed before the young master disappeared. There are rumors saying Zhuang Shao looks impressive on the outside but is weak inside, performing terribly in bed, which is why Qi Shaorong ran off with someone else,” Qi Heng said.

Zuo Yunfei chuckled, “It’s such a serious moment, and you’re still joking.”

Zuo Yunfei pouted, “Maybe it’s not a joke, but the truth. Maybe Zhuang Hao really has problems in that department.”

Qi Heng: “…”

“I wonder if Zhuang Hao can find Young Master,” Qi Heng said anxiously.

Zuo Yunfei thought for a moment. “They have a contract; he should be able to.”

“Why would that guy abduct the young master?” Qi Heng asked solemnly.

From the sky, the Nether Dragon dived down. At a height of several hundred meters from the ground, it released its claws, dropping Qi Shaorong heavily onto the ground. He lay there like a puddle of mud, unable to get up for a long time.

The Nether Dragon transformed into human form and landed, looking at the motionless Qi Shaorong. “What are you lying on the ground for?”

Qi Shaorong rolled his eyes helplessly. “I don’t want to lie here; I just can’t get up.”

The Nether Dragon looked at him disdainfully. “You humans have such poor physiques!”

“Who can deny that?” Qi Shaorong replied. “Senior, why did you capture me?”

The Nether Dragon stared at him. “At first, I wanted to closely examine how your magic works, but I found you might have another use. I heard you’re good at medicine?”

Qi Shaorong smiled awkwardly. “Only a little.”

The Nether Dragon nodded. “Then maybe you can take a look at someone for me.”

Qi Shaorong frowned, puzzled. Look at someone? Who was this “someone”?

The Nether Dragon flew with Qi Shaorong for five days. Qi Shaorong saw the familiar Tower of Light. Hei Jia, the Nether Dragon, led him inside, going all the way to the top floor.

Qi Shaorong was surprised to find that what he had thought was the highest floor of the Tower of Light was not the true top. The real top floor was sealed by a magical array set by the Nether Dragon Hei Jia.

A man lay quietly on a large bed made of bright light crystal at the top floor of the Tower of Light, motionless.

The top floor was filled with Holy Light Stones, and just stepping inside, one could feel the abundant light magic elements.

“He is asleep,” Hei Jia said.

Qi Shaorong was stunned. “Oh.”

“He has been asleep for hundreds of years and hasn’t woken up,” Hei Jia said with worry.

A chill ran down Qi Shaorong’s spine. Asleep for hundreds of years — could it be… dead?

Seeing Hei Jia’s expression, Qi Shaorong dared not speak his thoughts aloud.

“You know medicine, right? Go see why he hasn’t woken up,” Hei Jia said.

Qi Shaorong nodded. “Alright.”

He approached the sleeping man and examined him. Throughout the checkup, Qi Shaorong felt a fierce gaze fixed on him. The person behind seemed ready to tear him apart.

The man lying on the bed was handsome, exuding an extremely sacred aura, with multiple traces of damage caused by dark magic all over his body.

Qi Shaorong raised his eyebrows, heart pounding, silently suspecting that the man on the bed was the Light Magic Dragon, Cecia.
