HDRDTH -Chapter 99 A Massacre Announcement of Two Tons of Explosives

How Did Raising a Daughter Turn Her Into an Entertainment Queen? 5 min read 99 of 130 23

At the top floor VIP lounge of Xinghuang Entertainment, it was deathly silent.

The only sound was the “drip, drip” of scalding black coffee falling down Li Yao’s leg.

She felt no pain.

Her pupils had shrunk to pinpoints as she stared at the wrinkled white paper on the coffee table.

East longitude 122°, North latitude 31°.

“Dogs wouldn’t even go there! It’s all reefs! Bring two tons of explosives tomorrow and flatten it!”

This wasn’t a song draft.

It was a massacre announcement stamped with death itself.

Tonight, three Soryu-class submarines and two destroyers of Japan’s Second Fleet were planning to resupply there under cover of darkness.

This was one of the Empire’s sharpest underwater blades in the Asia-Pacific.

And now, before it was even unsheathed, it had already been stepped on by that “higher-dimensional demon” named Yu Xian.

What he casually threw into the trash wasn’t waste paper.

It was the Empire’s fate.

Li Yao’s fingers trembled violently inside her pocket. Her micro-transmitter was useless under the VIP lounge’s signal jamming.

She looked helplessly at Wang Fei, who was sitting with her eyes closed, seemingly sensing some mysterious “earth frequency.”

“Fei-jie…” Li Yao’s voice was hoarse. “I… I’m going to get you another coffee.”

She stumbled out.

The moment she left the signal-blocked area, she ripped off her cleaning uniform, locked herself in a restroom, and activated her transmitter.

[URGENT! Yu Xian has locked onto the Second Fleet’s rendezvous point! He plans to deploy two tons of high-energy conceptual weapons tomorrow morning! This is NOT a drill! Request immediate full retreat!]

She collapsed to the ground, exhausted.

She didn’t know what those “two tons of explosives” really were.

But if it came from that man, it was enough to flip an entire continental shelf.

Tokyo, Underground Intelligence Center (50 meters below ground)

CRACK—!

The alarm screamed so loudly it nearly shattered the chandelier.

Sato Marufuji grabbed the decrypted message, his sake glass shattering in his hand.

“East 122… North 31… How could he possibly know?!”

His eyes were blood-red.

“Two tons of explosives? No—idiots! That man can create infrasound with fishing rods, decode sonar with pop songs! When he says ‘two tons,’ it must be a mass-destructive geological weapon triggering chain reactions in the crust!”

“Order the fleet to abort concealment! Full ascent! Escape immediately!”

East China Sea Radar Station

“REPORT!”

The radar operator’s voice was full of disbelief.

“The enemy Second Fleet—previously in silent mode—is suddenly surfacing en masse at 122°E! They’re… they look panicked! They’re fleeing at maximum speed toward international waters! Formation completely broken—they’re even blasting emergency horns like they’re calling for help!”

The commander froze.

“Help? Did we deploy some secret weapon there?”

“Negative… only a few fishing boats catching jellyfish.”

Wild Wolf Valley Reservoir Road, Jiangcheng

Yu Xian sat in a battered pickup truck, face dark with frustration.

“Dafu, stop talking nonsense.”

He flicked his cigarette butt out the window.

“I lost fifteen fishing leaders on that reef. Fifteen! Those imported rigs from Old Liu!”

“If I don’t blow those rocks up, I won’t be able to fish bottom there again!”

Wang Dafu gripped the steering wheel nervously.

“Dad… if we ask the military for two tons of C4, won’t Lieutenant Chu think we’re terrorists?”

“I just gave him a nuclear submarine. Asking for a bit of explosives is fair trade!”

Yu Xian directly called Chu Feng.

“Little Chu, I need two tons of waterproof explosives. Tomorrow I’m going to blow up a reef 30 nautical miles east.”

On the other end, Chu Feng had just received reports of an enemy fleet panicking and surfacing in chaos.

His eyes instantly reddened with excitement.

“Mr. Yu! I understand now! This is your divine strategy of ‘shaking the mountain to scare the tiger’!”

“Two tons is too small! The military will directly allocate two ‘Deep-Sea Thor’ thermobaric bombs for you! The entire fleet will escort you!”

Beep—

The call ended.

Yu Xian froze.

Then slowly turned to Wang Dafu.

“Dafu… I just wanted to blow up some rocks to fish… and now they’re sending thermobaric bombs?”

“If they drop that, there won’t even be microbes left within ten kilometers. What the hell am I supposed to fish?”

At that moment, a message popped up:

[Mr. Yu, this is Li Yao. The fleet has withdrawn. Please cancel the explosives request. We are willing to compensate.]

Yu Xian stared at the screen, veins popping on his forehead.

“Li Yao again? Is this girl insane?”

Wang Dafu glanced over.

“Dad… isn’t she the new trainee you just signed?”

“Too deep into her role!” Yu Xian snapped. “She’s acting like she’s in some spy drama!”

To him, this was just a resentful newcomer messing around with nonsense.

“Call Sister Chen!” Yu Xian growled. “Tell her that girl’s mental state is broken! Don’t let her act as a spy anymore—send her to Hengdian to play background corpses blown up in episode one!”

Thousands of kilometers away, Tokyo intelligence center.

Sato Marufuji stared at the report from “Nightingale”:

[Yu Xian is extremely angry and threatens to ‘blow Nightingale up in episode one.’]

His face went pale.

“He’s issuing a death threat… physical annihilation…”

He slowly picked up a satellite phone and dialed a number.
