Taking advantage of the bandits’ momentary lapse in vigilance, Bai Hu shot toward Xiao Luo like a bolt of lightning.
Scooping him up, he swiftly leaped out of the bandits’ encirclement and broke free.
Seeing the bandits thrown into chaos, Jin Luoluo knew this was the perfect opportunity.
“There’s poison in the smoke! Take five steps and you’ll start bleeding from all seven orifices and die. Enjoy yourselves—bye-bye!”
Jin Luoluo immediately fled along with Bai Hu.
Unfortunately, her joke was a little too convincing.
The bandits thought they were doomed anyway, so instead of retreating, they charged after them. When they had gone well beyond five steps and nothing happened, they realized they had been tricked by a little girl. Their rage only intensified.
Bai Hu was pulling Jin Luoluo with one hand while carrying Xiao Luo on his back. No matter how fast he was, his speed had its limits.
Jin Luoluo’s foot got tangled in some grass, and she stumbled.
That brief delay was enough for the bandits to catch up.
Left with no choice, Bai Hu set Xiao Luo down and rushed forward to block part of the bandits’ attack.
Ignoring the sting from her scraped palms, Jin Luoluo hurried to help Xiao Luo up. Looking around anxiously, she searched for a place to hide.
“Luoluo, turn me to face them. It’ll be easier for me to use my hidden weapons.”
A murderous chill covered Xiao Luo’s face, and a bloodthirsty gleam danced in his eyes.
Jin Luoluo immediately turned him in the direction he wanted.
Several bandits drew their blades and closed in.
Xiao Luo flicked his sleeve.
Several men dropped to the ground instantly, not even having time to cry out.
Jin Luoluo stood there, completely stunned.
So cool!
She had seen Xiao Luo’s incredible accuracy with a bow before, but she had never imagined his hidden weapons would be just as deadly and precise.
If only he had a few more volleys of those hidden weapons, he could wipe them all out.
“Boss, this guy has hidden weapons! Be careful!”
The bandits shouted warnings to one another, no longer daring to get too close.
Hidden weapons were most effective against tightly packed groups. The bandits were clever enough to spread out, making it harder for him to hit many at once. They surrounded the pair from all sides, watching them like hungry wolves.
Some even circled around behind Jin Luoluo, intending to launch a sneak attack.
Xiao Luo’s eyes shifted slightly.
Without even turning around, he flicked his fingers backward.
Several hidden weapons flew out and struck the sneaking bandits with perfect accuracy. They collapsed on the spot, causing the remaining bandits to recoil in fear.
“Xiao Luo, keep it up! That’s it! Keep looking cool and throw out a whole bunch more hidden weapons! Take them down batch by batch! Hahaha! You wanted to kill us? Let’s see who the real killing machine is! I’m sending all you ugly bastards straight to hell!”
Jin Luoluo stood beside him, loudly cheering him on with outrageous enthusiasm.
Hehe~~
She was completely calm now. Like a little bird without a care in the world.
