But when I actually started reading it, oh my god. 😲 It was nothing like I expected. You know how I usually say, “Don’t look for logic, just leave your brain outside while reading”? Well, for this novel, you need to do the complete opposite. 🧠 You have to keep your mind fully engaged—always. If you don’t, you’ll miss out on so much of the brilliance, and honestly, you won’t enjoy it properly.

Now, let me warn you—it’s gory. 🩸 Some scenes are extremely detailed, and there’s a lot of tragic backstories. 😢 I’m at chapter 118 right now, and it’s getting tough to continue—not because I don’t like it anymore, but because after a 9-hour work shift, chores, and updating chapters on this website, I just don’t have the brainpower to dive into something this intense. 😵‍💫

With other novels, you can let your emotions do the work—you need your heart more than your head. ❤️ But this one? It demands all of your mental energy. So, for now, I’m putting it on hold. I’ll come back to it when I feel ready to fully immerse myself again.

That said, I do recommend it! If you decide to give it a try, let me know what you think. But please—no spoilers! 🚫📜 I avoided them on NovelUpdates and don’t want to stumble upon any here either.

For now, I’m moving on to another novel: I Am Recommending Myself for Marriage. 💍 This one seems lighter and less mentally taxing, and I’m hoping it’ll be a fun read to help me recharge!
