Enemies to Lovers

This trope features two characters who begin the narrative with a deep-seated mutual animosity, often due to conflicting ideologies, warring factions, or personal vendettas. As the plot progresses, forced proximity or shared goals compel them to understand one another, gradually transforming their hostility into romantic tension and eventual devotion. The appeal lies in the high-stakes emotional conflict and the slow-burn transition from hatred to love.
