“Let it go?” Luo Chuan sneered. “Anyone who dares touch someone from my Weiyang Sect—there’s no such thing as letting it go for free.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Luo Chuan suddenly drew the treasured sword offered by his attendant. The tip pointed straight at Yue Luo’s throat as she collapsed on the ground.

Coldly, he demanded, “Speak! What is your relationship with the Wuji Sect?”

“What’s going on here?”

The Fourth Prince entered the room with a grim expression. All the black-clad men knelt and reported:

“Your Highness, Miss Minmin was taken away by the Left Protector of the Wuji Sect.”

“The Wuji Sect?” The Fourth Prince paused briefly. “Then why aren’t you chasing them?”

“It’s useless.” Luo Chuan sheathed his sword and pulled Yue Luo up. “Besides, there’s no need to chase. One accomplice is still here.”

The Fourth Prince stared at Luo Chuan without speaking. Ying, unable to hold back, stepped forward and shielded Yue Luo.

“What accomplice?! Yue Luo is just an ordinary woman from a medical family. She doesn’t even have the strength to truss a chicken! Even if she wanted to join the Wuji Sect, they wouldn’t take her!”

“An ordinary woman?” Luo Chuan sneered. “Then why is she so ‘noble’ that no one from the Wuji Sect dared touch a single hair on her head? In all that chaos, blades flying everywhere—yet she was completely unharmed!”

Ying had no rebuttal.

“She shouldn’t be from the martial world,” the Fourth Prince suddenly said. “Otherwise, she wouldn’t still be in this clinic. I’d have dealt with her long ago.”

His voice was calm, but his gaze was icy.

Sighing softly, Yue Luo bent slightly behind Ying.

“I am not a member of the Wuji Sect, nor do I possess any martial skill. Wu Ti didn’t hurt me because… I am her aunt.”

Everyone froze.

Luo Chuan grabbed her wrist and checked her pulse. Only after confirming she truly had no internal energy did he relax.

“Then why didn’t she rescue you? Wasn’t she afraid we’d use your life to exchange for Minmin?”

Yue Luo’s expression darkened.

Wu Ti never liked me. She left home when she was young and cut ties with me. I only found out today that she joined the Wuji Sect. If you use my life to exchange for Minmin, I don’t mind… I know she won’t care.”

No one could bring themselves to pressure her further.

The Fourth Prince ordered Yue Luo confined in the west wing and left with Luo Chuan.

Before Ying left, Yue Luo held his arm and said sincerely, “Minmin is a good child. Good people are blessed. Young Master Ying, don’t worry.”

Ying was so moved he nearly floated to the sky, happily going off to search for Minmin—unaware that his suffering was only beginning.

Inside the East Wing

“You are Prince Luo, aren’t you?” the Fourth Prince asked directly.

“Your Highness has sharp eyes,” Luo Chuan admitted.

“Cleaning up those who ambushed Weiyang Sect wasn’t easy, was it?” the prince said lightly.

“That’s our internal affair.”

“I heard Wuji Sect was involved,” the prince smiled. “Why don’t we cooperate?”

“If it’s for Minmin, you don’t need such trouble,” Luo Chuan replied. “I’ll rescue her regardless.”

The prince’s eyes flashed with irritation.

“Our cooperation isn’t just for Minmin,” he said. “Lightly speaking, we share goals. Seriously speaking—we’re bound together like lips and teeth.”

“Your Highness exaggerates,” Luo Chuan replied coldly. “Why meddle in the martial world?”

“Where isn’t the martial world?” the prince sneered.

“Do you know who the leader of Wuji Sect is?”

Minmin Awakens

“What?! Wuji Sect?! Who named that? Sounds like a bad movie title!”

The red-clad girl exploded.

“I’m Wu Ti! Not some rooftop-stripper!”

She lashed her whip, collapsing half a wall.

Minmin blinked calmly.

“You won’t kill me. If you wanted to, you’d have done it already. You brought me here to ask something, right?”

“This is Wuji Sect headquarters. You’re meeting the leader soon.”

Wu Ti smiled sweetly.

“After that, you’re mine. I’ll slice you bit by bit. Okay?”

“Not really,” I replied honestly.

“Shut up!”

The Interrogation

Minmin was taken to a bamboo tower.

Inside sat a group of rough-looking middle-aged men.

At the top sat a fierce man with purple beard and red face.

“You’re Minmin? The legendary Divine Qi?” he boomed.

“I’m Minmin. I’m not sure about Divine Qi.”

“Hand over the Cu’e Heart Remembering Manual, and you may leave.”

“I don’t know it.”

Another man spoke coldly:

“Divine Qi’s Cu’e Manual and Divine Feng’s Kunlun Manual together form the Longevity Art.”

Minmin muttered about healthy living habits instead.

The leader’s face darkened.

The scholar-like man ordered:

“From now on: wrong answer, lose a finger.”

Knife pressed down.

Minmin panicked and agreed.

Fake Manual

“Taiji gives birth to Yin and Yang… Yin and Yang give Four Symbols…”

“Only four lines?” they asked.

“Uh… All things give birth to Wuji!”

“Wuji?”

“Wuji gives birth to buns…”

“Enough!”

They prepared to cut his finger.

In panic, Minmin shouted:

“Shuang Mantian!!!”

Silence.

He suddenly realized—

Wu Ti was Left Protector.
Then Shuang Mantian must be the leader.

He stared at the “scholar.”

“You are the leader, Shuang Mantian.”

The man smiled.

“You’re clever.”

“I was just guessing!” Minmin cried.

Furious subordinates drew weapons.

At the last moment, Shuang Mantian grabbed Minmin by the neck.

“Bring Wu Ti here,” he ordered calmly.

“Tell her… she can play however she likes.”

He smiled, showing sharp fangs.

“Mom… I’ve caused trouble again…”
