The father and son should have thought about it: who actually wants to die?

A sharp arrow shot toward them at tremendous speed and struck the executioner’s sword just as he was about to behead Gu Hengcang.

Gu Qitian and Gu Chengwen were not so fortunate.

No arrow came to stop their executioners. Both executioners brought their swords down in swift succession, and the father and son were instantly beheaded.

As for Gu Hengcang, he survived because of that single arrow.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye.

The next moment, more than a dozen men dressed in black descended from the sky and landed together on the execution platform.

The execution supervisor was startled. He immediately realized what was happening.

“Guards! Someone is breaking into the execution ground!”

The soldiers immediately drew their swords, while the men in black were equally unafraid.

Gu Hengcang nodded in satisfaction and stood up. He looked around, then frowned slightly.

“Where is this?”
