She didn’t treat him unfairly at all. Instead, she immediately appointed him as the manager of the gambling stone workshop and offered him a generous monthly salary.

Ling Yue burst into laughter at Monkey’s antics.

“Our little Yue has grown up.”

“As for me, I’ll stay here and help Monkey organize the shop.”

“You should go enjoy your meal with your sweetheart.”

Ling Yue’s face instantly turned scarlet.

“W-What sweetheart? Don’t talk nonsense!”

“Alright, alright, not your sweetheart.”

“Now hurry up. The poor fellow has been waiting for you for ages.”

Gesang laughed as he urged her along.

He clearly didn’t believe her denial.

After all, a man understood another man’s thoughts best.
