TFWYH – Chapter 1 Traveling to a Different World

Transmigrated as the Villainous Fat Wife of a Yandere Husband 6 min read 1 of 690 156

“How did she get hurt so badly? Yuer, no matter how wrong she may be, she’s still your wife. How could you treat her like this?”

“Yue’er, give me a hand and help your sister-in-law onto the bed. Chen’er, go and fetch Doctor Zhang!”

The woman’s voice was gentle, laced with a trace of sorrow—especially when she mentioned calling the doctor.

0527 slowly opened her eyes in a daze. Through her blurry vision, she saw a woman dressed in rough linen clothing patched in several places—a classic look straight out of ancient times.

Before she could get a clear view, 0527 was overtaken by drowsiness and fell asleep again.

Her final sensation before passing out: discomfort.

Her breathing was rapid, and it felt like something was lodged in her throat.

Did… her system crash?

When 0527 woke up again, it was already deep into the night.

Her throat was parched, and her mind was in a haze.

She stared blankly for a long time before realizing—she could feel things?

But… she was a combat survival robot!

How could she have feelings?

No!

She wasn’t one anymore.

To protect her master, Dr. X, she had already been blown to pieces.

So what exactly was going on now?

Before she could think too much, a flood of unfamiliar memories surged into her mind.

Tang Wan, fifteen years old, daughter of the town’s butcher Tang. Her birth mother died early, leaving her with two older brothers and a strict father.

As the only daughter, she was doted on by her father and brothers. The original host fell for Ling Yu—a disabled scholar from Huanshan Village—and tried everything to marry him. She even believed a shady quack and stole money from her family, hoping to cure Ling Yu’s leg.

Needless to say, the quack was a con man and took all her money—which was the Tang family’s entire savings.

Butcher Tang was deeply disappointed and had a heartfelt conversation with her, asking if she really couldn’t let go of Ling Yu.

The original host was as stubborn as iron and swore she’d marry no one else.

With no choice, Butcher Tang arranged the marriage through a matchmaker.

Naturally, Ling Yu refused—but he had a greedy old grandmother.

Butcher Tang promised to provide the last five taels of silver as dowry. Old Madam Ling agreed without hesitation and sold her grandson.

Of course, the money ended up in the old lady’s pocket.

Ling Yu was crippled, his mother was weak, and his younger siblings couldn’t stop it. He was forced to marry the original host and harbored deep resentment.

After marriage, he ignored her completely.

The original host wasn’t exactly easygoing. At first, she tolerated it, but later, whenever Ling Yu gave her the cold shoulder, she took it out on her timid mother-in-law and younger siblings-in-law.

As a result, Ling Yu resented her even more.

Today, after another tantrum, Ling Yu finally lost patience and gave her an eight-word insult:

“Fat-headed, big-eared, ugly and vulgar.”

These eight words infuriated her so much that she tried to hang herself.

But she was too fat—the beam broke.

And that’s when 0527 arrived.

0527 slowly opened her eyes and curiously looked at her chubby body, poking and pinching herself here and there.

“Oooh wow, so this is a human body?”

Warm, soft… and with a beating heart!

She pinched herself—and actually felt pain.

How fascinating!

Her face stayed expressionless, but her eyes were wide open, giving her a dumbly adorable appearance.

Then she noticed the silver ring on her finger—her expression turned a little complicated.

That item… came with her to this world.

At that moment, the door creaked open.

A small head peeked in.

It was a little girl, dressed in ragged clothes, her face yellowish and her figure frail. Her eyes looked even larger due to her thinness.

To 0527, she resembled one of those mutated, radiation-affected humans from Earth.

But she wasn’t a mutant. She was Ling Yue, the original host’s sister-in-law.

When Ling Yue saw 0527 awake and staring at her, she trembled, nearly spilling the chipped medicine bowl in her hands.

“B-b-b-big sister-in-law, h-h-here’s your… medicine.”

The girl trembled, her eyes full of fear.

“Mm.” 0527 replied with a cold face, but inside, she was actually nervous.

She didn’t know how to interact with people.

She could tell that the girl was afraid of her and wanted to ease the tension with a smile.

But the more she tried, the stiffer her face became.

To Ling Yue, she looked menacingly grim.

Ling Yue was on the verge of tears, terrified.

In the past, her sister-in-law would hit her whenever she was in a bad mood. She was so scared.

But the medicine had to be drunk—her mother had traded food to get it from the stingy village doctor. It couldn’t be wasted.

Ling Yue held back her tears and cautiously approached, holding the bowl with trembling hands, her eyes full of terror and silent pleading.

0527: …

Don’t look at me like that!

You’re making it seem like I bullied you!

She furrowed her brow slightly, and that one expression was enough to send Ling Yue into sobs.

Silent, tear-streaming sobs.

Forget it.

0527 looked away and stopped staring at her. She took the bowl and drank the medicine in one gulp, even saying:

“Thank you.”

“Ah?” Ling Yue was even more frightened. “N-n-no need to thank me!”

She grabbed the empty bowl and ran off in panic—tripping over the threshold on her way out. The cracked bowl flew from her hands and shattered into pieces.

0527: …

Did I just scare her that badly myself?

Impressive.

She gave herself some mental applause, then returned to feeling her squishy, fleshy body.

Tang Wan must weigh at least 180 pounds. Her face was round and pudgy—just like Ling Yu said: “Fat-headed, big-eared.”

But she was still thrilled.

This was a real human body—with blood and flesh, not cold metal under synthetic skin.

It had warmth… and a heartbeat.

And now, it was hers.

She was no longer 0527.

She was Tang Wan.

Tang Wan was happy for a while, but then her stomach growled.

She was hungry!

She could actually feel hunger!

Joyfully, she got out of bed and walked outside.

Looking around, there were three grass huts—crude and shabby.

One of them had a collapsed corner.

That was her and Ling Yu’s room. The collapsed part? From when she tried to hang herself.

Tang Wan pursed her lips and walked toward the kitchen, where sounds of activity were coming from.

Inside, the mother and her two children were cooking. In the pot was a thin wild vegetable soup.

When she entered, all three flinched in fear.

Ling Yue and Ling Chen hid behind Madam Jiang, peeking out in terror.

Even Jiang’s face twitched nervously.

After a long while, she forced a smile. “Wan-niang, you’re awake. Hungry? Food’s almost ready!”

“Mm.” Tang Wan nodded, staring at the pot without blinking.

Even if it was just wild herbs… it smelled so good!

She could finally eat—no more charging up!

But to the three in the kitchen, she looked like she was angrily glaring at the soup, like she was upset at having to eat such poor food.
