TVSFPAG -Chapter 5 Something He Couldn’t Tolerate

Transmigrated as the Vicious Supporting Female Who Pretended to Be the Amnesiac Tycoon’s Girlfriend 7 min read 5 of 198 194

After coming out of the kitchen, Chu Jinhan changed into his delivery uniform and went out to deliver takeout.

Song Yunfei, on the other hand, tidied up the bedsheets, laid them back in place, took a shower, and lay down on the bed, blowing the fan while scrolling on her phone.

She wanted to look for a computer on a second-hand website. With a computer, she could take on some work from home.

However, even slightly decent second-hand computers weren’t cheap. The minimum configuration she needed would cost over 3,000 yuan.

Song Yunfei could only regretfully close the website and open her notes app to start calculating her finances.

Looking at her balance, she still had a little over 1,000 yuan left.

It was almost the end of the month again, and rent plus utilities had to be paid—around 1,500 yuan.

Although this neighborhood was an older one, its location was good. This single room was about 50 square meters, so the rent alone was 1,400 yuan.

Chu Jinhan’s income from both his job and delivery work was about 5,000 yuan per month, sometimes reaching 6,000–7,000.

After deducting rent and utilities, he kept 500 yuan for living expenses, leaving about 3,000 yuan in Song Yunfei’s hands.

Then there were her own living expenses—ordering takeout every day, occasionally eating out—those 3,000 yuan were simply not enough.

The original owner would sometimes buy things online here and there, living quite frugally. She couldn’t even afford an air conditioner or washing machine, let alone something as luxurious as a computer.

After calculating everything, Song Yunfei could only sigh.

It seemed that from now on, she couldn’t keep ordering takeout. Buying groceries and cooking herself would be more economical.

One meal of takeout cost over 20 yuan, while 20 yuan worth of groceries could last an entire day.

After a long day of exhaustion and calculation, sleepiness began to creep in.

Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep in a daze.

In her dream, she vaguely heard the sound of running water from the bathroom, and sensed the bed beside her dipping as someone lay down next to her.

But she was fast asleep, her drowsiness overpowering her mind, so she didn’t pay attention.

She even turned over and instinctively reached for the stuffed teddy bear beside her.

Just as Chu Jinhan lay down, the woman immediately moved closer to him. His body stiffened as he lay there.

The bedside lamp emitted a warm orange glow. Looking down, he could clearly see the top of her fluffy head.

Her entire face was buried in the hollow of his shoulder, her warm breath brushing against his skin in gentle waves.

One of her arms rested across his chest, while one of her legs lay over his waist—she clung to him like an octopus.

A soft, warm sensation came from his arm.

No matter how one looked at it, he was a normal, healthy man in his prime—this was not something he could easily endure.

Chu Jinhan raised his hand and carefully grasped her wrist, trying to remove her arm.

But the next second, Song Yunfei let out an unhappy murmur, broke free from his grip, and instead hugged him even tighter, her cheek rubbing against his neck.

His Adam’s apple rolled involuntarily, his breathing suddenly growing heavier. A surge of heat rose from his lower abdomen and quickly spread throughout his body.

That wasn’t all—Song Yunfei’s leg also moved slightly.

Her knee brushed against a certain area, causing Chu Jinhan to stiffen completely, his breathing growing even heavier.

Chu Jinhan’s eyes darkened. Without any further hesitation, he forcefully peeled the woman off him, quickly got up, and went into the bathroom.

Song Yunfei simply turned over in her sleep, still not waking up.

The next morning, when Song Yunfei woke up and looked at the unfamiliar room, she was dazed for quite a while before remembering that she had transmigrated.

She grabbed her phone from the bedside table, turned off the alarm, and got out of bed while still half-asleep.

Passing by the kitchen, she sniffed the air and caught the scent of fried eggs.

Chu Jinhan was making breakfast.

Song Yunfei yawned and dragged her sleepy body to the bathroom to wash up.

After she came out, Chu Jinhan also brought the breakfast out from the kitchen.

He glanced at her in surprise. “You’re up so early today?”

Song Yunfei gave him an exasperated look. “I already told you yesterday—I’m starting work today.”

Chu Jinhan tactfully kept his mouth shut.

If he kept talking, this woman would probably start making a scene again.

The two of them ate breakfast in silence. By the time they were nearly finished, Chu Jinhan finally remembered to ask, “What kind of job did you find?”

Song Yunfei replied weakly, “Selling houses.”

“Where is it located?”

After thinking for a moment, Song Yunfei said, “At Baishi Road Plaza.”

Then her eyes suddenly lit up. “Wait, do you pass by there too?”

Chu Jinhan nodded. “Mm.”

“That’s great. We can go to work together.”

Chu Jinhan’s workplace was farther away and located in an industrial zone, but their routes were the same—they even took the same bus.

“Mm.” Chu Jinhan responded perfunctorily. He didn’t take her job seriously.

Maybe it was just a passing enthusiasm—she might quit after just a couple of days.

After breakfast, Song Yunfei took the initiative to clear the dishes.

Then she changed her clothes. This set of work clothes was something she had bought when she previously worked at Yanjin.

The manager had said yesterday that selling houses required formal attire, preferably a suit.

When Chu Jinhan saw her coming out of the bathroom wearing a shirt, he couldn’t help but glance at her a couple of extra times.

The white shirt outlined her figure perfectly, giving her a neat, capable, and elegant appearance.

This outfit made her look completely different from her usual sloppy image, even elevating her overall temperament by a great deal.

However, temperament wasn’t something that could be completely changed just by clothing.

The current Song Yunfei gave Chu Jinhan a very different feeling.

Noticing that he had zoned out, Song Yunfei asked, “Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?”

Chu Jinhan withdrew his gaze and turned to walk out. “Let’s go.”

The morning bus was very crowded, and since their stop was a middle station, there were hardly any seats left.

After squeezing onto the bus, the two of them could only stand near the door.

Song Yunfei hadn’t experienced crowded buses in a long time, so she felt somewhat unaccustomed to it.

Chu Jinhan stood in front of her. Each time the bus swayed, the two would inevitably brush against each other, making both of them feel slightly awkward.

Suddenly, the bus jolted violently twice. Chu Jinhan was bumped from behind and lost his balance, uncontrollably falling onto Song Yunfei.

“Ah—”

Song Yunfei’s expression turned pained as she couldn’t help but gasp.

Chu Jinhan steadied himself by grabbing the door and quickly distanced himself from her, only then noticing that she was holding her chest.

His expression became even more awkward. He lowered his voice and said, “Sorry.”

After a moment, Song Yunfei recovered, her face slightly pale, and shook her head. “It’s fine.”

Chu Jinhan kept his hand pressed against the door for support, stabilizing himself so he wouldn’t bump into her again.

He looked down at her pale face and, after a brief pause, suddenly said, “Why don’t you just not go to work?”

Song Yunfei looked up at him in surprise. “Why?”

Chu Jinhan said, “You probably won’t last more than a couple of days anyway. Why suffer like this?”

Song Yunfei immediately became unhappy. “Don’t look down on me! Who says I won’t last? Just watch how long I can stick with it!”

Chu Jinhan said nothing, but his expression clearly showed he didn’t believe she could persist.

“Besides, going to work means there’s air conditioning. It’s still better than staying home and sweating to death.”

Chu Jinhan’s gaze fell on her face again. That part, he did believe.
