Luo Bingbing was a regular customer, so the store manager personally led the three of them to the best VIP reception room.
The room was carpeted with thick, soft rugs, furnished with stylish designer sofas, and filled with soothing light music.
On the coffee table, exquisite refreshments had already been laid out—delicate macarons, handmade chocolates, and beautifully presented fruit tarts.
Beside them sat bottles of Evian mineral water, thoughtfully prepared with straws.
“Have a seat, don’t be shy.”
Luo Bingbing took the lead, sitting gracefully on the sofa. In her early thirties, she was exceptionally well-maintained.
Her features were striking and elegant, dressed in a sharply tailored black suit, with a diamond-studded Patek Philippe watch on her wrist.
“Please have a seat for a moment. I’ll go get the product catalog.”
The store manager bowed slightly, then quietly exited, closing the door behind them.
Yin Siyao sank into the soft sofa, feeling a little unreal. Just half an hour ago, he had been subtly turned away by a sales assistant.
This kind of VIP treatment made him even more nervous than performing his first major surgery.
Leng Keyan, on the other hand, was completely at ease. Sitting close beside Yin Siyao, he picked up a piece of chocolate and handed it over.
“Dr. Yin, try this. This brand’s chocolate is pretty good.”
Yin Siyao accepted it and asked in a low voice, “Why is your aunt here?”
“Probably just a coincidence. She shops here often.”
Leng Keyan grabbed a macaron for himself. “Guess I’m lucky—every time, someone shows up to bail me out.”
Luo Bingbing took in their interaction, a playful smile curling on her red lips.
She lifted the black tea brought by the staff and took a graceful sip.
Looking at Yin Siyao, her gaze softened. “You must be Dr. Yin. I’ve heard Xiao Yan mention you often—said you take very good care of him. I finally get to meet you today.”
“Hello, President Luo.”
Yin Siyao nodded politely, a little restrained.
“No need to be so formal.”
Luo Bingbing smiled, setting down her teacup. “That child Xiao Yan is always a bit reckless. He must have caused you quite a bit of trouble, right?”
“No,” Yin Siyao answered honestly.
Leng Keyan added with a hint of pride, “See? I told you I don’t cause trouble. You just wouldn’t believe me.”
Luo Bingbing shot him a look. Just as she was about to speak, there was another knock on the reception room door.
The store manager entered respectfully, followed by a group of people.
Among them were a wildly popular young male idol, a Best Actress winner fresh from a film festival, and several well-known variety show celebrities.
Five men and five women—every single one of them top-tier stars.
Dressed in Chrome Hearts’ latest collection, they filed in one by one, polite and composed, wearing professional smiles.
“President Luo, Young Master Leng, Father Yin, good afternoon.”
Gu Jinzhou was the first to greet them, his voice gentle and courteous.
Luo Bingbing leaned back lazily on the sofa, lifting her chin slightly. “Begin.”
Yin Siyao watched in disbelief as these celebrities—whom he normally only saw on TV or trending searches—modeled outfits right in front of him like professional mannequins.
Gu Jinzhou wore the pair of jeans he had been looking at, paired with a small bag, while the store manager explained the details beside him.
The VIP staff nearby were wide-eyed, struggling to maintain their professionalism.
Luo Bingbing, however, was used to all this. Reclining on the sofa, she calmly observed the carefully presented outfits.
Noticing the sales staff’s excitement, she turned to Yin Siyao. “Do you have a favorite celebrity? Want a photo or autograph?”
Caught off guard by the spectacle, Yin Siyao instinctively shook his head. “Thank you, President Luo, but no. I don’t follow celebrities.”
“Oh dear, why call me President Luo? That’s too distant. Just call me Aunt like Xiao Yan does.”
She waved her hand with a smile. “But you’re right. Celebrities are just high-end salespeople—nothing much to idolize.”
Though she said it lightly, no one dared show any displeasure.
Leng Keyan muttered, “Aunt, why are you exposing me like this?”
“What did I expose?”
Luo Bingbing raised an eyebrow. “Don’t young people all like chasing celebrities?”
Leng Keyan leaned closer to Yin Siyao, his arm loosely draped possessively over the back of the sofa behind him.
“In Dr. Yin’s eyes…”
He paused, then turned his head, his eyes bright with undisguised pride and affection.
“…there’s only me.”
The blunt statement made Yin Siyao’s ears heat up. Under the table, he lightly kicked Leng Keyan, signaling him to behave.
To ease the awkwardness, he picked up the Evian water and took a sip—biting the plastic straw flat in the process.
Seeing Leng Keyan’s possessive, puppy-like expression and Yin Siyao’s slightly reddened ears, Luo Bingbing couldn’t help but laugh.
“Alright, alright. Your Dr. Yin can only like you.”
Yin Siyao continued his strategic drinking.
After half an hour, Luo Bingbing grew a bit tired and waved her hand, signaling an end.
The celebrities and their assistants exited quietly and orderly, and the room returned to calm.
Luo Bingbing’s gaze shifted between the two before settling on Yin Siyao.
With clear curiosity and amusement, she asked, “How do you put up with Xiao Yan? He’s like a little wolf guarding his food—baring his teeth at anyone who even glances at you.”
Yin Siyao set down his water, his voice gentle. “Yan Yan… is actually very obedient.”
“Obedient?”
Luo Bingbing raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced.
But she didn’t press further, only smiling. “Alright then, if you say he is.”
“Since we ran into each other today, let’s treat this as a proper meeting. Xiao Yan, don’t just shop for yourself—pick a few things for your Dr. Yin too. Consider it my gift.”
Leng Keyan’s eyes lit up. “Thank you, Aunt! You’re the best and the most beautiful!”
Luo Bingbing teased, “Say that again in front of your uncle next time—I’d love to hear it.”
“Aunt, you can’t do that~”
Luo Bingbing laughed and had the manager call people back in to continue presenting items for them to choose.
Leng Keyan pulled Yin Siyao to his feet, picking out clothes one by one.
“This coat has a great cut—Dr. Yin will definitely look refined in it.”
“This shirt’s too flashy, no good…”
“Hmm, this sweater works—simple and warm…”
Being dragged along, Yin Siyao looked at the highly stylized (and undoubtedly terrifyingly expensive) clothes and felt his scalp tingle.
He declined again, “Really, no need. Just pick for yourself. At my age, and working in a hospital, these aren’t suitable.”
Clothes this expensive—what if he had to rush into the ER and got blood splattered on them? That would be heartbreaking.
“What’s unsuitable about it?”
Luo Bingbing walked over, examining him carefully. “You’re so good-looking, with great proportions. And your skin is so fair—you’re practically born to be a model.”
“Wearing such conservative clothes every day is just a waste. Change your style once in a while—it’ll be refreshing.”
“Exactly!”
Leng Keyan nodded enthusiastically like a wagging puppy. “Dr. Yin, you look good in anything! We’re taking these—let’s wear matching couple outfits.”
