Zuo Yunfei walked up to Qi Heng and grabbed his hand.
Zuo Yunfei used so much strength that Qi Heng felt like his finger bones were about to be crushed.
Qi Heng looked at Zuo Yunfei with resistance and said sternly, “What is it now? Are you insane? Let go of me!”
“You’re probably not even really a Qi, right? Don’t you know that only those who marry into a family take their spouse’s surname? Have you gone mad wanting to become Qi Shaorong’s person? How shameless can you be?” Zuo Yunfei shot back.
Qi Heng glared at Zuo Yunfei. “Let go, you’re hurting me!”
Seeing the ugly look on Qi Heng’s face, Zuo Yunfei finally let go with resentment.
Qi Heng glared at him and snapped, “What is your problem?! Even my surname is your business now? Do the people in the Zuo family know how annoying you are?”
Lowering his head, Qi Heng flexed his fingers. After being expelled from the Jiang family, he had taken Qi Shaorong’s surname and adopted his deceased younger brother’s name in his memory.
Zuo Yunfei looked at Qi Heng’s expression and said, “I just think it’s wrong for you to interfere between Zhuang Hao and Qi Shaorong.”
Qi Heng sneered, “Zuo Yunfei, don’t you find yourself ridiculous?”
Zuo Yunfei stared at him. “Not at all.”
“You’re acting so jealous—could it be that you actually like me?” Qi Heng asked mockingly.
“You really think highly of yourself! Who with a working brain would like someone like you?” Zuo Yunfei said agitatedly.
Qi Heng laughed. “Good point. Only an idiot would like someone as nasty and manipulative as me. So, Young Master Zuo, you’d better stay sane. Don’t be an idiot.”
Zuo Yunfei: “……”

Zhuang Hao looked at Qi Shaorong, a little puzzled. “Shaorong, you seem to be in a good mood.”
Qi Shaorong nodded energetically. “Yeah! I just ran into a little kitten. It was quite amusing—I couldn’t resist teasing it a bit.”
“Kitten?” Zhuang Hao asked, confused.
Qi Shaorong nodded. “Yes, quite an interesting little cat.”
Zhuang Hao took a deep breath and thought to himself: This guy probably just played Zuo Yunfei for a fool again. “You’d better be careful. Don’t push the cat too far—it might bite.”
Qi Shaorong glanced at Zhuang Hao and said, “Relax, I know what I’m doing.”
Zhuang Hao: “……”
The door suddenly burst open. Qi Heng stood in the doorway, looking visibly upset.
“Ah Heng, are you alright?” Qi Shaorong asked.
Qi Heng shook his head. “I’m fine. Just ran into a lunatic—what bad luck.”
Qi Shaorong: “……”
“Young Master, I’m going to rest.” Qi Heng shot a glance at Qi Shaorong.
Qi Shaorong nodded. “Alright, go get some rest.”
Watching Qi Heng leave, Zhuang Hao frowned and said to Qi Shaorong, “Looks like that little kitten of yours scratched Qi Heng pretty badly.”
Qi Shaorong: “……”

Tang Tianying came in, sounding excited. “Young Master Zhuang, up ahead is the main ridge of the Rad Mountain Range. There might be red cherry blossoms growing there.”
Qi Shaorong nodded. “In that case, let’s dock.”
He walked onto the deck and looked toward the distant peaks.
“There seem to be red flowers growing on the mountain. Those should be the red cherry blossoms,” Qi Shaorong said.
“There’s a legend that couples who obtain the red cherry blossoms will find happiness. If we find some, I’ll pick a bunch for you,” Zhuang Hao said.
Qi Shaorong smiled. “Thank you.”
Zuo Yunfei came over to Qi Heng. “Red cherry blossoms symbolize love. They say if a couple sees them together, they’ll stay together for life. You came alone—what a waste.”
Qi Heng turned to look at him. “Don’t just point fingers at me—you’re here alone too.”
Qi Shaorong and the others began ascending the mountain. Zhuang Hao led the way, Zuo Yunfei stayed at the back, and Qi Heng—delayed by Zuo Yunfei—also fell behind.
Suddenly, Qi Heng slipped and lost his footing.
Zuo Yunfei stepped in and caught him. Leaning in, he whispered, “Be careful! You need to watch your step. If you fall from here, you’ll end up a bloody mess. Staring at Qi Shaorong all the time isn’t safe—better to watch where you’re going.”
Qi Heng gave him a sideways look. “Thanks, I’ll be more careful.”
Zuo Yunfei smiled and gave him a hard slap on the shoulder. “Good. As long as you understand.”
Jiang Qinxin turned her head, glanced at the two, and pursed her lips.
The mountain path was steep. After trekking for several hours, they finally reached the summit.
Bright red cherry blossoms covered the mountaintop. Qi Shaorong was dazzled by the stunning sight.
“No wonder red cherry blossoms are considered a symbol of love. They’re so beautiful,” Qi Shaorong exclaimed.
Upon seeing the blossoms, Li Ying and Tang Tianying both lit up and ran ahead to pick flowers.
Zhuang Hao picked a bunch and handed them to Qi Shaorong. Qi Shaorong accepted the large, vibrant flowers.
“Thanks,” he said.
Zhuang Hao pouted. “That sounded so perfunctory—totally insincere!”
Qi Shaorong looked at him and chuckled helplessly. “Then what do you want?”
Zhuang Hao pointed to his cheek. “Give me a kiss, okay?”
Qi Shaorong shook his head with a sigh. “You really are like a little kid.” Despite what he said, he leaned in and gave Zhuang Hao a kiss on the cheek.
Qi Heng squatted on the ground, observing the red cherry blossoms.
He had been following Qi Shaorong for some time now. While others might be captivated by the beauty of the red cherry blossoms, Qi Heng’s first thought was how much gold he could make if the blossoms could be turned into cosmetics.
Zuo Yunfei came over and sat down next to Qi Heng. “What are you looking at?”
“None of your business.”
“You don’t seem too happy,” Zuo Yunfei tilted his head and said.
“You’re overthinking it. I’m perfectly happy.”
Zuo Yunfei chuckled. “You clearly aren’t. Stop pretending to be okay.”
“I was in a good mood—until you showed up. That’s what ruined it, you know?” Qi Heng looked seriously at Zuo Yunfei.
Zuo Yunfei rolled his eyes and handed him a bunch of red cherry blossoms.
Qi Heng looked at him in confusion. “What are you doing?”
“Giving these to you.”
“To me? Did you take the wrong meds or something? Don’t you know what red cherry blossoms represent…” Qi Heng said irritably.
“Don’t misunderstand. I’m giving them to you because you look so pitiful all alone. The person you like clearly has someone else in his heart, and they’re acting all lovey-dovey.” Zuo Yunfei replied.
Qi Heng took the bouquet from his hand. “Wow, thanks. I never knew you were such a compassionate soul, Young Master Zuo.”
“No need to thank me. I just saw Zhuang Hao give Qi Shaorong flowers, and Qi Shaorong warmly kissed him in return. Their relationship is really something, wouldn’t you say?” Zuo Yunfei said.
Qi Heng closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “So the young master kissed Zhuang Hao, huh? Well then, should I kiss you too, Young Master Zuo?”
“If you really have to kiss me, I don’t mind,” Zuo Yunfei replied.
Qi Heng: “…”
“If you’re gonna kiss me, do it already. I know exactly who you are, so there’s no point in pretending to be all pure and innocent,” Zuo Yunfei added.
Qi Heng turned his face away, took a deep breath, then turned back and planted a firm kiss on Zuo Yunfei’s face.
Zuo Yunfei nearly fell over onto the grass from the force of it.
Qi Heng sneered, “Blushing, are we, Young Master Zuo? You’re right—I’m not innocent at all. But you, you seem pretty pure. Don’t tell me after all these years, you still haven’t had any action since that incident.”
Feeling bold, Qi Heng reached between Zuo Yunfei’s legs and gave a grope.
Zuo Yunfei caught Qi Heng’s hand and looked at him. “What do you think you’re doing?”
Zuo Yunfei smiled. “Nothing. If you want to touch, go ahead. I don’t mind.”
“You’re shameless,” Qi Heng snapped.
“I’m shameless? When you stripped me naked back then, did you think about shame?” Zuo Yunfei said nonchalantly.
Zhuang Hao crouched next to Qi Shaorong and said, “What’s going on with Qi Heng and Zuo Yunfei? It’s broad daylight—don’t tell me they’re planning to hook up out here.”
Qi Shaorong shot him a glance. “What are you imagining? That’s impossible.”
“Impossible? With how Qi Heng once stripped Zuo Yunfei and left him out for photosynthesis, I wouldn’t be so sure,” Zhuang Hao said.
Qi Shaorong turned to look at him, frowning. “Now that you say it like that… maybe it’s not totally impossible.”
Zhuang Hao: “…”
Qi Heng shoved Zuo Yunfei away. “You maniac.”
Zuo Yunfei rolled his eyes. “I’m crazy, and you’re the sane one? Do I need to remind you of what you did to me? You loved stripping me down and groping me inch by inch.”
Qi Heng: “…That was for a medical examination, not because I wanted to grope you.”
Zuo Yunfei looked at him. “Ah yes, back then you loved giving me ‘check-ups.’ Want to give me another one now?”
Qi Heng replied, “You were poisoned back then—you had research value. Now you’re healthy. Studying you is pointless.”
Zuo Yunfei pushed Qi Heng to the ground and started groping him. “That’s okay. I might not have research value anymore, but you sure do! I’ve always been curious what makes a ‘pure gold body’ so special. You love examining people—has anyone ever examined you?”
Qi Heng slapped Zuo Yunfei across the face. “You lunatic!”
Zuo Yunfei wiped his face and said grumpily, “Qi Heng, you really are a hypocrite. It’s not okay for me to strip you, but it was fine when you stripped me?”
Qi Heng shot him a look and bolted in the direction of Qi Shaorong.
