Starting as a Grandfather

Zhang Ran is reborn into a parallel world that closely resembles the one from his previous life, carrying all of his past memories with him.

But after the ship passes through a mysterious bank of dense fog, everything changes.

When the fog finally clears, Zhang Ran discovers that it is no longer 1990—it is 2018. Without warning, their cruise ship has traveled twenty-eight years into the future.

Over the course of what felt like a single night, Zhang Ran’s once-empty household registration is suddenly filled with family members he has never met: a son, a daughter-in-law, a daughter, a grandson, and a granddaughter.

He has skipped nearly three decades of his life…
