Under Zhang Jiaohua’s direct command, the Meishan Sect moved with thunderous speed, sweeping away all unstable elements. Any external forces that dared to reach their hands toward Meishan were uprooted entirely. While the whole world was still astonished by the sudden upheaval within the Meishan Group, Zhang Jiaohua held a press conference and announced a large-scale personnel restructuring.
Although there had been massive personnel changes, the Meishan Group continued operating normally, with no disruption to its business.
In truth, the most significant impact was not the corporate restructuring, but the internal purge within the Meishan Sect itself. A large number of disciples were removed—anyone harboring disloyalty was dealt with. The lightest punishment was the crippling of their cultivation and expulsion from the sect; the more severe cases were executed outright. After this cleansing, the sect’s atmosphere improved drastically. Only then did the cultivators trained through the “Dream Realm Project” appear within Meishan’s Blessed Land.
When everything returned to proper order, Zhang Jiaohua finally met with Ji Jiaxin and the others.
“You still plan to return to the Immortal Realm?” Ji Jiaxin asked, her gaze soft but steady.
“I will,” Zhang Jiaohua nodded.
“You plan to go alone?” Ji Jiaxin spoke calmly, as though she had long prepared herself for this answer.
“No. I plan to activate the teleportation formation. The Meishan Sect can’t stay in the mortal world forever—our progress here is too slow. I intend to reopen the path to the Immortal Realm and bring those with talent over.” Zhang Jiaohua said.
Mei Qing voiced her worry: “Aren’t you afraid the disaster from last time will happen again?”
The horrifying scene from the ancient recording was still vivid in her memory.
“Don’t worry. I’ve already taken precautions this time. Also, I want to see what progress you three have made over these years.” Zhang Jiaohua smiled.
“We succeeded in developing the spiritual energy generator, but its efficiency is still low,” Mei Qing admitted.
“If we had better materials, I think the efficiency could be much higher. But the materials we have now are already the limit of what this world provides,” Xu Xiaoting said regretfully.
“Materials? I brought plenty back from the Immortal Realm. Let’s see if they help.” Zhang Jiaohua said, taking out the rare Immortal Realm resources he had gathered.
“That’s great!” Mei Qing’s eyes lit up.
Zhang Jiaohua himself had no idea how to resolve the feelings among the three women. They were all deeply loyal, sincere, and pure-hearted. He couldn’t decide. But he also wasn’t in a rush—everyone here was a cultivator, their lifespans long. There would be time to work things out later.
All three women had already reached the Foundation Realm equivalent of Spirit Transformation, and with Zhang Jiaohua’s guidance, breaking through to Void Returning would be no challenge. In time, even Unity with the Dao might not be unreachable. Once the Immortal Realm passage stabilized, their cultivation paths would no longer be restricted.
A year later, all preparations were complete. During that year, the Meishan Sect expanded to nearly 100,000 cultivators. Besides Zhang Jiaohua, there were now other Void Returning-level experts: Wei Changuang, Kong Jiyuan, Chen Dianzi, Kong Fangzhou, and Ah-Dao. Zhang Yuanbao, Qi Xia, and others had all reached the peak of Spirit Transformation. Mei Qing, Ji Jiaxin, and Xu Xiaoting too had reached peak Spirit Transformation.
Kong Fangzhou led the artifact-refining hall in crafting numerous advanced cultivation-tech fusion artifacts using materials from the Immortal Realm. The overall quality of Meishan’s magic tools had skyrocketed.
Everything was ready. The only thing left was to open the Immortal Realm Gate.
When the teleportation formation was activated once again, the Sacred Spirit Mountain reappeared, and the Gate to the Immortal Realm manifested above it.
Zhang Jiaohua led Wei Changuang, Kong Jiyuan, Ah-Dao, and the other Void Returning experts through the glowing gateway. Immediately upon entering, they erected a massive defensive array formation around the teleportation site. With the automated artifacts, strategic devices, and the large-scale AI-based formation control systems, the formation was activated within half an hour and sealed off dozens of kilometers around the mountain.
The moment the formation activated, countless powerful immortal beasts in the region were startled, but by the time they arrived, the protective array was already fully operational. For several days, countless immortal beasts launched assault after assault, yet the formation did not waver. In the end, after suffering casualties, the beasts retreated.
Once safety was confirmed, tens of thousands of Meishan Sect disciples began entering the Immortal Realm, constructing the new Meishan Immortal Residence within the Immortal Beast Mountain Range.
Meanwhile, the mortal world Meishan Sect remained the foundation—continuing to select new talent through the Dream Realm System.
Within a year, an enormous cultivation citadel stood in the Immortal Realm. The central structure was the teleportation hub linking the two worlds, with spiritual energy continuously flowing into the mortal realm and being locked within Meishan’s defensive formation.
The two branches of Meishan—mortal and immortal—had finally united.
“When will we open the path to the Immortal Continent itself?” Wen Xiaoqun asked.
“Not yet,” Zhang Jiaohua shook his head.
Even the Abandoned Land of the Immortal Realm was dozens of times larger than Earth. No one knew how vast the Immortal Continent was, or how many powerful cultivators resided there. To enter it blindly would be suicide.
The Meishan Sect now had enough space and resources to grow rapidly. In less than ten years, they would have multiple Void Returning experts—and by then, Zhang Jiaohua himself might break through to Unity with the Dao. Only then would it be the right time.
Zhang Jiaohua’s parents eventually arrived in the Immortal Realm as well, their cultivation having progressed to Spirit Transformation. They cared little for cultivation itself—what they cared about was urging their son to pick a wife among the three girls.
“If you really can’t choose, then just marry all three. It’s the Immortal Realm—nobody will gossip. A cultivator needs a Dao companion. Otherwise, with such long years ahead, it’ll be too lonely.” Liu Qiaoye said openly.
“Mother—please don’t rush,” Zhang Jiaohua protested.
“Dragging it out is worse for them,” Liu Qiaoye replied. “If you can’t speak, I’ll speak.”
Zhang Jiaohua fled hurriedly. “I still have to visit Yanreturn City to discuss business with the City Lord!”
Liu Qiaoye sighed at his retreating figure, amused.
Soon afterward, she invited Mei Qing, Ji Jiaxin, and Xu Xiaoting to their home.
“It’s been a while since we sat down together,” she began. “Today…I’d like to have a real talk with you three.”
