Di Changsheng was quite upset that Wei Chenguang’s group had left halfway, but there was nothing he could do about it. In that situation, he couldn’t act against Wei Chenguang. The key issue was that he couldn’t see through Wei Chenguang’s true strength at all. The other two with him seemed to be on par as well. Shu Mountain Sect had deep foundations, and they had more than enough cultivators who could deal with someone of Wei Chenguang’s level. But under the current circumstances, how could cultivators of that level have the leisure to come pick a fight with the Meishan Sect?

Di Changsheng looked up at the sky again. The weather was clear, the sky a vast, cloudless blue—nothing seemed like it could be hidden. And yet, that feeling of being watched made him uneasy, as though needles pricked at his back.

Zhu Yingchun laughed. “Brother Di, are you still worried about surveillance? Honestly, there’s no need. Once we enter a secret realm, satellites in the sky won’t be able to do anything about us. No matter how advanced the technology, it cannot pierce through a secret realm. The magnetic field in this area is unstable, so electronic equipment suffers from severe interference.”

Zhang Lingxiong nodded. “Brother Di, Brother Zhu is right. Satellites can’t see us.”

Di Changsheng shook his head. “Forget it. I can’t explain it to you. When you reach my level, you’ll begin to sense certain things. We are being watched. I don’t know how they’re doing it, but we’ve been under surveillance this entire journey.”

“How could that be?” Zhu Yingchun and Zhang Lingxiong said in unison.

“Never mind. Even if we are being watched, it doesn’t matter. Soon enough, everything will be revealed to the world anyway,” Di Changsheng said.

Meanwhile, Zhang Jiaohua and the others kept their eyes fixed on the monitors. Their surveillance equipment was transmitting live feeds back. They watched as the images of many cultivator teams marching forward were relayed in real time.

“Looks like a fraction of the teams have already stopped. They must’ve reached their destination. I didn’t expect there to be so many secret realms,” Zhang Yuanbao said in surprise.

“These probably aren’t secret realms, but formations—just like our Meishan Blessed Land,” Zhang Jiaohua explained.

Mute and Nie Tong continued scanning, discovering more and more teams. As these groups converged in the region, the number of detected teams kept growing.

“Ninety-nine teams!” Mute exclaimed when the tally appeared.

Once all the cultivator teams reached their destinations, Zhang Jiaohua and the others realized the locations connected together to form a mysterious diagram.

“This pattern… it looks like… it looks like…” Kong Jiyuan stared at the screen in shock. He picked up a pen, marked the points on paper, then connected them with lines.

At last, Kong Jiyuan cried out: “The River Diagram and the Luo Script! This is the Hetu Luoshu!”

“The Hetu Luoshu?” Zhang Jiaohua had heard of it before, but had no idea what connection it had to the Immortal Realm teleportation array.

“Yes—the Hetu Luoshu. An extremely mysterious formation diagram handed down since ancient times. No one really knows what it does. But the three sacred lands might know. I didn’t expect it to have some connection to the Immortal Realm,” Kong Jiyuan said excitedly.

“Look—they’re making a move,” Mute said, still monitoring the scene.

The sect masters of the three sacred lands, rarely seen together, had all gathered.

“Brother Di, now everything is ready but the final push. This is the day we’ve waited many years for,” Liang Dengheng said excitedly.

Di Muguo nodded. “Yes. At last, the three sacred lands have set aside grudges to join forces and see this through.”

Zhao Kaiyuan laughed heartily. “You two can drop the fancy words. Let’s give the order already.”

“This time, in opening the Hetu Luoshu, who knows whether it will bring fortune or disaster. But at this point, hesitation is no longer an option. Activate the great array!” Di Muguo said, looking to Liang Dengheng.

Liang Dengheng raised his voice: “Activate the formation!”

As the formation was triggered, the Taklamakan Desert and the surrounding region instantly became shrouded in mist. Huge swathes of land vanished from satellite observation. China had clearly been forewarned, as no panic broke out domestically. But foreign organizations grew alarmed immediately. The sudden anomaly in China sparked all kinds of speculation—they suspected China was conducting some kind of experiment, using technology to block satellite signals. That terrified them, for if China had mastered such technology, it would render their satellites blind.

But Meishan Sect’s surveillance equipment remained unaffected. Everyone in the sect watched in astonishment.

A colossal presence shook loose the sands of the Taklamakan. A towering mountain range grew up out of the desert. The process seemed slow, yet happened so fast—a massive range burst forth from the sands. Within a month, the gigantic mountains rose into the sky, suspended ten thousand meters above ground. An overwhelming tide of spiritual energy spread outward from the mysterious peaks. It was a buried, immense spiritual vein!

Such a vast mountain range floating high above the earth was utterly shocking.

“The Immortal Realm teleportation array—could it be on this mountain?” Zhang Jiaohua asked.

Kong Jiyuan had no answer. Even among the three sacred lands, likely few truly knew the truth. They had probably only ever heard legends. No one had seen such a spectacle with their own eyes.

“The teleportation array—where is it? Didn’t you say if we all worked together to activate the formation, the array leading to the Immortal Realm would open, and the spiritual energy we consumed would be replenished? Where is it?”

“Yes, where is the teleportation array?”

The rogue cultivators who had come along with Wei Chenguang now found themselves standing in a valley of the floating mountain range, completely disoriented, unsure of where they were.

How could Di Changsheng explain any of this? He too stared blankly at the rolling mountains around them. Where were they? At this point, they couldn’t even contact their sects—they were cut off.

“Everyone, don’t panic. We don’t yet understand the situation. After all, this teleportation array hasn’t been opened for a thousand years. Who could’ve predicted something like this?” Di Changsheng said.

“Exactly. Weren’t you all eager to restore your spiritual energy? Look at the density of qi here—why not take the chance to replenish yourselves? For all we know, this might already be the Immortal Realm,” Zhu Yingchun said.

Though his tone was curt, his words carried sense. The aura here was indeed incredibly rich. The others didn’t bother arguing with him. One by one, they sat down, entering meditation and using their arts to recover their strength.
