As soon as the corpse king emerged, it grabbed the nearest man, around thirty years old.

“Ah!” The man screamed, trembling uncontrollably, without any resistance. A white vapor began to emerge from his mouth and nose. He quickly fainted.

After a while, the white vapor stopped, and the corpse king threw the man to the ground, as if he had fallen asleep. In reality, the man was beyond saving.

Seeing this, the others panicked, afraid they would be the next victims.

Everyone hoped to be the lucky one to escape from the main tomb first, but there could only be one lucky person. Thus, chaos broke out—fights, struggles, and internal conflicts ensued within the main tomb.

The situation did not go unnoticed by the Fat Cat, who stayed outside the tomb. Animals possess a natural sensitivity to danger, and Fat Cat had sensed an extremely terrifying presence in the main tomb. When the corpse king leaped out of the coffin, Fat Cat ran for its life, fearing that if it stayed any longer, the chilling aura from the corpse king would turn it into an ice sculpture.

Fat Cat quickly ran to Zhang Jiaohua, interrupting a shot he was filming.

“I told you, this shot doesn’t need the fat cat!” Lin Jianming said angrily.

But Zhang Jiaohua ignored him, having noticed Fat Cat’s anxiety. The situation was dire.

“Everyone needs to evacuate immediately!” Zhang Jiaohua shouted loudly.

“Jiaohua, what are you doing?” Lin Jianming glared at him, thinking Zhang Jiaohua was just causing trouble. He muttered to himself that rich kids couldn’t act well.

“We need to evacuate now, or it’ll be too late!” Zhang Jiaohua said urgently.

“What’s going on?” Tang Yan quickly asked.

“We must evacuate now, or everyone’s life will be at risk!” Zhang Jiaohua said.

“Director Lin, there’s some information I can’t explain right now, but we need to stop filming. It’s too late to explain, just get everyone out first. After today, you’ll understand,” Tang Yan said.

“Tang Yan, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Do you want to join this nonsense too?” Lin Jianming was completely furious.

“I’m Zhu Qiyou, captain of the Criminal Investigation Team from Xintian County Public Security Bureau, and here’s my work ID. There’s been a tomb robbery case, and I need everyone to leave the crime scene immediately to assist the police in securing it!” Zhu Qiyou knew it was time to step up. Luo Changjun had instructed him to cooperate closely with Zhang Jiaohua.

Lin Jianming was initially stunned, looked at Zhu Qiyou’s ID, and then recalled some prior events. He realized the ID was likely genuine.

“Filming is suspended for today. Cast and crew, please leave the set in an orderly manner,” Lin Jianming said loudly.

Before leaving, Lin Jianming glanced at Zhang Jiaohua, still puzzled by the connection between the child and the police officer.

“Jiaohua, what’s going on?” Lin Jianming and Zhu Qiyou asked.

“It’s bad. You can’t help down there. Hurry up and get out,” Zhang Jiaohua said anxiously. With the corpse king now free, if it wasn’t confined to the pit, once it got out, the entire Meizi’ao would be doomed. Zhang Jiaohua didn’t want to leave because his parents and family were outside.

“You all go. Jiaohua and I will stay here,” Chen Dianzi said.

Zhu Qiyou nodded, leading the group out.

“The corpse king… we can’t handle it. These tomb raiders deserve it. I don’t think any of them will escape,” Chen Dianzi said.

“We still have to try. If the corpse king escapes, it’ll be a disaster,” Zhang Jiaohua said with concern.

“What does it matter to you, little kid?” Chen Dianzi looked at Zhang Jiaohua in a new light. He hadn’t expected the child to remain so calm in such a crisis.

“My parents are outside. If you’re scared, then get out of here,” Zhang Jiaohua scolded.

Chen Dianzi didn’t mind, laughing, “Not bad. You’ve got guts. But how do you plan to deal with the corpse king?”

“I’ll fight it!” Zhang Jiaohua clenched his fists.

“What good will that do? You’ll just die for nothing,” Chen Dianzi shook his head.

Zhang Jiaohua thought Chen Dianzi had a plan, “Do you have any ideas?”

Chen Dianzi shook his head, “What can I do? We can’t fight it, and we can’t run. My wife and daughter are outside. Let’s go take a look. Maybe we’ll find a solution. Even if it’s death, at least we’ll have no regrets.”

“I thought you had a plan,” Zhang Jiaohua said dismissively.

The two of them walked inside.

Fat Cat, reluctant to go back, followed with an annoyed meow as it saw Zhang Jiaohua heading inside. Without Fat Cat’s guidance, Zhang Jiaohua seemed to know exactly where to go, heading straight for the main tomb.

“You’ve been here before, or what? How do you know this place so well?” Chen Dianzi asked in confusion.

“I dreamed about it,” Zhang Jiaohua answered, not bothering whether Chen Dianzi believed him.

“Did you dream of how to deal with the corpse king?” Chen Dianzi asked.

Zhang Jiaohua shook his head. “I dreamed about the iron corpse that was dealt with. In the end, the tomb collapsed, trapping the monster in the ruins.”

“It seems we’re in for a fight!” Chen Dianzi sighed. After finally reuniting with his family, they hadn’t even had time to enjoy their happiness before being forced into this battle.

Zhang Jiaohua chuckled, “Chen Dianzi, are you afraid of dying?”

“Of course I’m afraid of dying! I’ve just had a few days of peace, and I’m not ready to give it all up! If I get out of this alive, I’ll never bother with any kind of cultivation again. Jiaohua, what’s real cultivation? I’ve spent my whole life on it, and look where it’s got me—wife and kids gone, and I’m left insane. Now that we’ve finally reunited, we’re going to lose everything again because of me,” Chen Dianzi said, growing more frantic.

“Chen Dianzi, you’re embarrassing the Meishan Watermasters. What the hell did you cultivate? You’ve spent half your life cultivating, but still don’t even know what cultivation is!” Zhang Jiaohua scolded.

“And you, do you even know what cultivation is?” Chen Dianzi sneered.
