“Luoluo, don’t get so caught up joking around that you forget the important business. The young lady on the stage now is quite good as well.”
The worry hanging over Xiao Luo’s heart finally lifted. Smiling faintly, he reminded Jin Luoluo to focus on the task at hand.
“Mmm… She’s pretty. I’d say fifty percent looks and fifty percent elegance, so she passes. More importantly, she has a great figure. She’s the kind of woman who looks good in anything she wears—a perfect clothes hanger. I’ll take her.”
Once Jin Luoluo had made up her mind, naturally no one dared compete with her.
The madam on the stage was on the verge of tears.
She desperately prayed to every god and Buddha she could think of, hoping this formidable customer, Jin Luoluo, would stop choosing girls.
Every additional woman Jin Luoluo selected meant another painful loss for her.
She had been in this business for many years, yet she had never encountered such a troublesome customer before.
She truly felt as though she’d had the worst luck imaginable.
Unfortunately, her prayers went unanswered.
Jin Luoluo wasn’t finished yet.
“Hmm… I’ve picked about enough fashion models. Next, it’s time to choose a few glamorous beauties.”
Satisfied, Jin Luoluo placed another checkmark in the notebook she carried with her.
Mu Yun looked puzzled.
“What do you want glamorous women for? You’re not a man. Aren’t those seductive women only popular with men?”
Jin Luoluo grinned mysteriously, unable to hide the crafty gleam in her eyes.
She looked toward a famous courtesan dressed in a gauzy veil. The woman’s willow-like brows were alluring, her watery eyes flirtatious, her ruby lips irresistibly inviting, while her graceful figure was faintly visible beneath the translucent fabric.
The moment the courtesan appeared, the atmosphere itself seemed to grow hotter.
Lewd chuckles echoed throughout the hall, accompanied by the sound of men unconsciously quickening their breathing.
A single glance told Jin Luoluo that nearly every man present had fixed his eyes on the beautiful, sensuous courtesan.
Their gazes were filled with greed and lust. They resembled wolves prowling through the mountains, staring intently at the woman’s alluring figure beneath the sheer veil.
“Of course I’m going to use them against men. Beautiful, seductive women are the perfect weapon when it comes to dealing with men.” Jin Luoluo smiled knowingly. “Mu Yun, do you know why wealthy men love coming to brothels for entertainment? They already have plenty of money, and many of them have wives and concubines at home. It’s not as though they lack women.”
“Why?” Mu Yun asked curiously. She knew very little about that side of men.
“Because people say, ‘A wife can’t compare to a concubine, and a concubine can’t compare to a courtesan.’ It’s not that wives or concubines are actually inferior. The truth is, some men love to curse courtesans as shameless women, yet deep down they’re attracted to exactly that kind of glamorous, flirtatious beauty. They think such women are more feminine and far more interesting than the dignified, proper ladies waiting for them at home.”
