Muyun became even more furious. Her almond-shaped eyes widened, her features twisted with anger, and she ground her teeth as she cursed:
“I hate that vixen to death! Every time I see her, I want to slap her a few times, beat her face until it’s swollen and bruised, and then throw her into a lake and drown her.”
It seemed that Princess Muyun had quite a fiery temper. She spoke of beating people without the slightest hesitation, displaying a bold and fierce personality.
But Jin Luoluo felt that Muyun was far too impulsive and impatient, lacking strategy and subtlety.
With a temperament like that, she could never be a match for a scheming beauty like Yang Ruoyao, who had undoubtedly seen through her recklessness and knew exactly how to exploit it.
Just like what had happened in the carriage earlier.
Muyun had mocked and ridiculed her openly, yet all Yang Ruoyao had needed was one pitiful glance and a sorrowful forty-five-degree lowering of her head.
Immediately, that jinx of a man had taken Yang Ruoyao’s side.
She hadn’t even needed to say a single word, and Muyun had already lost completely.
With good intentions, Jin Luoluo advised her:
“I can tell you really hate her—you’d love nothing more than to skin her alive and grind her bones to dust. But if you want to deal with someone like that, you have to use your brain. If you confront her head-on, you’ll only end up looking unreasonable and hysterical. Women like her are experts at pretending to be victims. Everyone sees her as pitiful and assumes you’re the one at fault. Not only will you gain nothing, but people will end up disliking you instead.”
To deal with a seductress, one needed strategy.
Soft tactics and hard tactics had to be used together—both hands working at full strength.
The highest level of victory was making her suffer in silence, forcing her to swallow her grievances while secretly seething with hatred.
Clearly, Muyun had not yet mastered the art of handling a rival.
“Exactly! That’s exactly it! That vixen is always acting pitiful, but Brother-in-law and the others never see through her. They always defend her and say that I’m the one being unreasonable and suspicious. It’s driving me crazy! No one supports me. Why can’t anyone see that she’s not a good person?”
Thinking about her brother-in-law’s attitude and everyone else’s reactions, Muyun nearly lost control.
Why did no one believe her?
The more she thought about it, the more she hated Yang Ruoyao’s delicate, innocent-looking face.
“If women like that were so easy to expose, would they still be able to stir up trouble everywhere? But someone like her will eventually get what’s coming to her. Why lower yourself to her level? The angrier you become, the happier she is. The best method is to ignore her completely—absolutely and utterly ignore her. Look at me now: I basically treat her like a piece of trash.”
Jin Luoluo leisurely crossed her legs and continued imparting her wisdom.
