“How did you get here so fast?” Xie Jixing felt a little tipsy, having trouble walking straight.
Qian Shuyun stepped forward to support the slightly drunk cat. After getting Jiang Yueli’s message on the plane, he hadn’t even picked up his luggage and went straight to the hotel after landing.
Anxious the entire way, his mind racing with countless unacceptable scenarios.
Now seeing this person looking at him in surprise, he felt a bit angry, yet had no right or reason. Qian Shuyun sighed. “You’ve been drinking?”
“Just… a little.” Xie Jixing pinched a tiny distance between his fingers. He tried to swipe the room card twice—it didn’t work. “Ugh, a little dizzy.”
He boldly handed the card to Qian Shuyun. “You, open it for me.”
He looked completely untroubled, carefree.
Qian Shuyun swiped the card to open the door, intending to support him inside. But the room’s aura brought back a long-forgotten unease.
He felt like he was submerged in a pool of ice water, a chill seeping into every bone.
His body shivered slightly, nails digging into his palm. He couldn’t move for a moment.
A pale blue flame ignited. Though icy, it gave Qian Shuyun warmth.
Xie Jixing’s previous tipsy dizziness disappeared. Now he supported Qian Shuyun. “Ready?
Xie Jixing proudly puffed out his chest. “Yes, that’s exactly how you praise me.”
His triumphant look completely eased Qian Shuyun’s worries. He smiled and asked again, “You weren’t wronged at all?”
“I wasn’t exactly wronged, but I heard that the one surnamed Wu is a scumbag.” When mentioning Wu Lianmian, Xie Jixing’s tone turned indignant. “But, I spent 400,000…”
He pointed at the alcohol bottles and bared his teeth ferociously. “Special funds for special use—I can’t burn him to death.”
Qian Shuyun had been weary from traveling, and Xie Jixing’s head was spinning; this wasn’t the best time to discuss further plans.
Originally, Qian Boss had planned to fly back and forth between C City and H City, but after tonight’s incident, he changed his mind, deciding to stay until everything was fully resolved.
Since arrangements were already in place, there was no rush.
After repeatedly confirming Xie Jixing’s safety, Qian Shuyun left. He still had to return to the airport to retrieve his abandoned luggage.
Xie Jixing took a hot shower. The steam made his head even dizzier. Before going to bed, he set a fire for Wu Lianmian.
Rebound, rebound!
Then he fell asleep instantly.
He slept, but Mr. Wu’s “wonderful night” was just beginning.
After Zhao Chaoran helped him out of the restaurant, he was given three bottles of sobering soup.
The alcohol was stubbornly lingering. Once at the hotel, Wu Lianmian got mischievous again. After taking some stimulants, he called a male model to the local club.
The male model was supposedly a college student doing part-time work. He looked pure and fair-skinned, somewhat resembling the young celebrity who had challenged him to a drinking game at the restaurant.
Especially when he smiled—the eyes crescent-shaped. Although the “aegyo-sal” under the eyes was obviously artificial, Wu Lianmian, drunk and high, didn’t notice at all.
Seeing him, Wu Lianmian instantly imagined Xie Jixing laughing and challenging him to drink earlier.
“You… you go… put that outfit on…” Wu Lianmian called the young model over, pointing to a bag on the bed.
Then he tapped under his eyes a few times with his finger. “Also… draw a beauty mark here…”
“Make it a red mark, got it?”
The male model obediently took the bag.
Inside was a uniform, tightly wrapped with nothing exposed, but a small leather whip hidden inside hinted at Wu Lianmian’s perversion.
The model pouted. No wonder they increased his pay—rich people really do play in extravagant ways.
After changing, he used lipstick to draw a red beauty mark under his own eyes. Fully immersed in acting, he swung the little whip in his hand as he left.
Wu Lianmian glanced at the red mark and wasn’t very satisfied. “Not quite like it…”
One day, he’d get a real one.
But for now, he had to settle for this low-end version. He closed his eyes, lying supine in a starfish position on the sofa. “The introducer said you know how to play. Come on, blindfold me.”
The male model placed a black blindfold over Wu Lianmian’s eyes, one foot between his legs, letting the tip of the whip slide across his face a few times, then lightly flicked his chest.
“Ah!”
The shout startled the model. The flick was light, but the client screamed like he was being slaughtered.
Yet the client hadn’t said a safe word.
The model hesitated, then shook and gave a second flick.
Another scream followed.
Perhaps it was this client’s peculiar fetish?
Not sure—flick again.
The model increased the force, trying harder. Wu Lianmian screamed even louder, twisting and convulsing.
This fetish seemed extremely niche. The model panicked, stopping, and whispered into Wu Lianmian’s ear, “Mr. Wu, are you okay? Do you want to continue?”
But the screaming client didn’t respond; even his jaw trembled.
So scary!
The model called his name twice more, still no response.
When his leather boots on the sofa were soaked with a stinky liquid, the model completely broke down. This client was too perverted!
Couldn’t continue. Would block the introducer later.
The model angrily tossed the whip, changed back, and slipped away.
The presidential suite’s soundproofing was excellent—no one could hear Wu Lianmian’s screams.
From the first flick, he was drawn into a hallucination.
The surroundings were old and worn. Wu Lianmian was chained to a metal chair.
The first person to appear was a female singer he had harmed.
Back then, she had just debuted, innocent and powerless. After he had people cover her mouth and force alcohol down her throat, he got what he wanted.
Where she went later, or what happened to her—he didn’t care.
The singer appeared as she had then, holding a bottle of liquid. She forcefully grabbed Wu Lianmian’s cheeks.
His mouth was pried open. Her seemingly delicate hands were powerful, like long-handled tongs. No matter how he struggled, he couldn’t escape.
The liquid poured in, scalding and burning. Wu Lianmian screamed and begged.
But who would save him?
The liquid burned as if it were strong acid, searing from his esophagus to his stomach. He felt as if his organs were being roasted alive, blistering black, wishing to pass out from pain.
Yet he had to swallow instinctively to avoid choking.
After all three bottles were poured, he felt as if his stomach had become a hollow pit.
In reality, foam and a trace of blood spilled from his mouth.
The hallucination didn’t end. The second man appearing was long forgotten by Wu Lianmian.
This man had accidentally bumped him on the road, and Wu Lianmian had run him over, breaking both legs. He had paid some compensation, but whether the man could stand again wasn’t his concern.
The man rolled over in a wheelchair, placed Wu Lianmian’s legs on a wooden frame, and began turning the rollers.
The frame lifted higher and higher, stretching his tendons to the limit. Wu Lianmian sweated coldly in pain, yelling for him to stop and offering more money, but his throat was hoarse from the liquids.
The tendons reached their limit, started tearing, and his body bent at a sharp angle—then came the bones.
The joints stretched and cracked under pressure. Wu Lianmian’s legs flopped, losing all strength, unable to sit upright. His body slid from the sofa like a puddle of mud.
When the third person appeared, Wu Lianmian shuddered.
This man had been whipped harshly to save his underage daughter.
After rendering the man unconscious, they sensed danger and fled. The girl reportedly died because she wasn’t treated in time. Wu Lianmian had compensated her 200,000 yuan.
But she was dead—how did she appear here?
A man, bloodied, wielded a long whip coated in chili water. Every strike was full force.
Red marks steamed up on his skin, then vanished.
Cheeks, chest, abdomen.
He felt the flesh scrape away along the whip’s barbs, exposing the white bone underneath.
The burning liquid stabbed sharply into the cracks of his bones.
Wu Lianmian twitched a few times, then completely fainted, collapsing.
