He had seen Zhuang Ding a few times before. In fact, in Sunset Town, few people hadn’t encountered Zhuang Ding—mainly because the dog was too lively.
After returning home with Wang Bo for the New Year, Zhuang Ding was still reminiscing about its “harem of three thousand” life. There was only one queen in the castle who wouldn’t let it near, so it ran around the town instead.
Of course, in Zhuang Ding’s view, this wasn’t random running—it was a quest for true love.
Because of this, Wang Bo had to put a reminder on the town’s LED screens: “Owners bringing female dogs into Sunset Town, please take care of your pets. Pregnant dogs are not allowed.”
Although Zhuang Ding ran around the town, it was smart—it never bit or threatened people. Even when it encountered tourists with female dogs, it would go up and act cute to gain favor.
When Zheng Jinyuan first saw Zhuang Ding, he was quite frightened. But gradually, he realized that this dog only looked fierce—it was actually very gentle. Strangers could even take photos with it or hold it.
So he wasn’t afraid of Zhuang Ding. When he saw Chen Luoxian following the dog and trying to leave, rage suddenly surged in him. He took a quick step forward and shouted, “Where do you think you’re going?!”
Zhuang Ding turned to look at the man and thought angrily, What the hell is he yelling for? Almost scared the Dog Master! Two-legged beasts are crazy!
Chen Luoxian patted its head and said, “Ignore him, Zhuang Ding. Let’s leave. I’ll take you to eat.”
It was almost noon, and Zhuang Ding was indeed a bit hungry. Wang Bo and Eva had been gone for more than a day. They hadn’t taken it on this outing, so the dog’s heart was unhappy—it hadn’t eaten anything all that time.
Zheng Jinyuan blocked the way of the human and dog. Impatient at wanting food, Zhuang Ding barked a few times.
But its barking was just a complaint, not a threat or an expression of anger. Although loud, it had no real intimidation.
Zheng Jinyuan, frustrated and irritated, heard the dog barking at him and went up to kick it, shouting, “Shut up!”
It was the first time Zhuang Ding had ever been kicked. Its mind momentarily went blank.
Seeing it quiet down after being kicked, Zheng Jinyuan assumed the dog was all bark and no bite and bullied it with a few more insults.
Zhuang Ding sensed his hostility. The hair on the back of its neck bristled instantly. Its eyes glared with two beams of icy light, teeth bared sharply, radiating sheer ferocity.
Wild beasts carry natural aura and pressure, often using it to intimidate enemies.
Such aura and pressure aren’t fully felt unless confronted directly—and Zheng Jinyuan was now directly facing Zhuang Ding. He nearly soiled himself.
Tourists nearby panicked, especially those with children, and quickly stepped back.
Seeing this, Zhuang Ding immediately reined in its anger. It knew it couldn’t display its ferocity in town—Wang Bo wouldn’t allow it.
However, if it didn’t deal with arrogant two-legged beasts like Zheng Jinyuan, the Dog Master’s dignity would be compromised.
This guy was particularly despicable. Once Zhuang Ding calmed down, he rubbed his nose in its face and even went to the car to fetch a wrench to scare it.
Seeing the car, Zhuang Ding grinned, thinking of a way to deal with Zheng Jinyuan.
Chen Luoxian pulled it away to the supermarket and bought a pack of dog food for it.
Zhuang Ding wasn’t fond of dog food; it preferred meat. But it hadn’t had dog food in a long time. This two-legged beast had bought the most expensive dog food, which smelled good and was nutritious.
So it decided to indulge today and eat some dog food.
However, dog food wasn’t as tasty as beef or lamb. As it ate, it felt uneasy. After some thought, it realized it wasn’t picky—it was annoyed by that two-legged idiot. Eating just wasn’t satisfying.
After finishing half the dog food, it ran off. Chen Luoxian called after it, but it ignored her and dashed across the pasture on four long legs.
At the pasture, it found the “Prince Seven” brothers, then headed to the kennels to check on the Labrador and German Shepherd still in training. Passing by the Mauri residential area, it howled twice—over twenty fierce dogs ran out.
These dogs were its subordinates—either beaten by it or dominated by it before. At its command, they immediately gathered.
Next, Zhuang Ding led them to the outskirts of the town center. It scouted, sniffing out Zheng Jinyuan who was still eating.
Zheng Jinyuan had a big appetite. Zhuang Ding waited a while, but he still hadn’t finished and was still in the restaurant.
It had originally wanted to scare him, but that plan wouldn’t work. It couldn’t lead a pack of dogs into the restaurant—Wang Bo and Eva would punish it when they returned.
So it thought quickly and found the Maybach that still carried Zheng Jinyuan’s scent.
The car was parked by the road. Zhuang Ding called to its subordinates twice and led them to the Maybach.
The other dogs weren’t smart enough to know what to do at first, but after a few demonstrations, they understood.
Zhuang Ding’s demonstration? Destruction.
A paw struck the car door. Its sharp claws left four clear scratches on the Maybach’s sleek paint.
It bit the soft footrest of the Maybach. After two chomps, the footrest was dented and mangled.
It jumped on the hood and rammed it with its strong shoulders. With repeated attacks, the front bumper wobbled dangerously.
The other dogs understood: attack the car. Easy. They had seen cars before—they didn’t fight back.
The young Labrador, only four or five months old, chewed the bumper vigorously—perfect for teething.
It was mealtime and the streets were nearly empty. By the time anyone noticed, the luxurious, high-end Maybach had already been torn apart!
“Whose car got attacked by a dog?” someone asked in the restaurant.
Zheng Jinyuan didn’t understand English. After someone translated, he laughed and muttered, “You’ve got to be kidding… dog food or… crap on the car, and you let dogs… damn it!”
He ran to the door and looked at the road—seeing a pack of dogs tearing at his expensive rented Maybach.
He was terrified. He grabbed a ceramic plate from the restaurant and ran to throw it at the dogs.
Zhuang Ding saw him coming, left a few deep bite marks on the tires, howled, and led its subordinates in a successful retreat.
Looking at the wrecked car, Zheng Jinyuan was at his wit’s end. He wanted to chase the dogs, but they had vanished. In despair, he called the rental company:
“Hello, I rented a car from your company… it’s been damaged by dogs…”
The customer service said, “Sir, don’t worry. Did you see who did it? Can you identify them?”
“No! My car was really damaged by a pack of dogs!”
