I hate both the MC and ML. They are just too lovey-dovey! 😤💔 Like, I was seriously jealous of these paper characters. Mostly because I’m in a long-distance relationship (LDR), but still—this was too much, you guys! Couldn’t the author have toned it down a bit? Ugh. 🙄

Anyway, ranting about their excessive PDA aside, this novel was an absolute blast! 🎉✨ I’m telling you, you’ll love it as much as I did. The biggest takeaway for me? Communication. 🗣️ No matter your relationship—be it with lovers, family, or friends—always communicate. It solves so many problems and clears up misunderstandings. Sure, you might lose some people, but the ones who stay? They’ll make it all worthwhile. 💕

The author did a fantastic job maintaining the MC’s characteristics throughout the novel. 🙌 Maybe the MC was slightly autistic (just my guess), but his personality remained consistent from start to finish. He had a slow EQ but a super high IQ. There’s this chapter where it’s revealed that he wasn’t part of the Meng family, and I was 80% sure he’d turn out to belong to one of the top three families (the fourth being the ML himself). Later, it’s revealed that the Xu family is connected to the ML’s grandmother, so that was one theory down. And when the Xiao Zi incident happened, I was 90% sure he was from the Xiao family—and I was right! ✔️

The Xiao family was amazing. I especially loved the grandfather—such a complex character. He was strict but loving, and he totally caved for Meng Ting (or should I say Xiao Zinuo?). 🥹💖 Our Nuo Nuo was just the cutest throughout the entire novel. Every word he spoke was gold. 🪙✨

When you read it, you’ll love him as much as I do. He often said he hated his past life but didn’t have the time or heart to hate others as much as he had the capacity to love. 🥺 Isn’t that beautiful? If there’s something you can forgive (and this is your call), you should. Focus on the things and people that truly matter. And if you ever feel like there’s no one left, don’t worry—the internet is a vast place. You’ll find someone. 🌍💌

I give this novel a full 5-star rating 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for its positive messages, engaging plot, and logical story development. Oh, and those extra chapters about the past life? Chef’s kiss. 👌 I’m so glad I picked up this novel.
