I started reading this because I thought I’d already read it before. 🤔 But something felt different—maybe it’s a similar story with the same profession or a similar friend circle. Who knows? Either way, here’s my review!
First off, I really enjoyed this novel! ❤️ The way it sheds light on the struggles of the LGBTQ+ community is so eye-opening. It’s heartbreaking how cautious people have to be with their families and society when it comes to their orientation. 🏳️🌈 To anyone in the community reading this, I genuinely feel for you. I hope you all have families like the ML’s—who support you no matter what.
Now, let’s talk about the fun stuff! 😂 This novel was hilarious! Our MC is absolutely adorable—even at 24, he’s like a big kid with a mind that could come up with the most brilliant ideas. 💡 His forgetfulness is cute and funny, and he’s so quick to forgive ML, which adds a nice layer to their relationship. I love how the story showcases their evolving relationship and the impact of the people around them—whether it’s Tao Fie or anyone else. They were just as important in driving the story forward as the leads were. 👯♂️
This novel really dives into the complexity of human nature. It doesn’t shy away from showing the jealousy and rivalry that exists in offices, especially between the MC and a fellow collegue. That’s actually where I thought I’d read this before—I remember thinking the MC had asked his friend Shen to help him out to ease his financial burden, but maybe that’s from a different story. 🤷♂️
One of the things I appreciated most was learning from the ML about team management. 🧑💼 Being in a managerial position can be super stressful, but the ML aced it, and I’m definitely going to apply his strategies with my own team. Also, who knew architecture was so complex? 🏗️ I had no idea you needed to know so many laws and regulations just to build a simple office or house!
Overall, I’m giving this novel 5 stars. 🌟 It’s definitely worth reading, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a mix of humor, romance, and career insights. I’ll be coming back to read this again for sure! 📚💯
