Apocalypse-Star-House-Hoarding

Okay, so picture this: you open your apartment’s storage room and BAM—it’s connected to another dimension 😳. That’s exactly what happens to Yu Xi, the female lead in Apocalypse Star House Hoarding. One minute she’s living her regular life, the next she’s out here dodging tsunamis, zombies, meteor showers, acid rain—you name it. Every month she’s thrown into a new doomsday scenario like she signed up for some twisted survival game 🎮.

Honestly, I picked this novel up right after I accidentally started re-reading I Have Paid Too Much for This Home again (yes, again… don’t judge me 😅). I was craving something apocalyptic but different, and oh boy, this one delivered.

From the very first few chapters, I felt like I got on this wild, chaotic train that somehow had no brakes… but also weirdly felt like home 🚂💥. Each arc felt like its own little story—some heartbreaking, some exciting, all completely absorbing. It had everything: disaster and danger, growth and healing, family, betrayal, found love, and those little quiet moments that really hit you in the feels ❤️.

Yu Xi? She’s the kind of lead we all love—strong, smart, kind, but also not afraid to make tough choices. She’s the calm in the middle of every storm, and I rooted for her all the way. 🌪️💪

And now let’s talk about the ML… guess who? It’s not some CEO or warrior or prince—it’s the system 🤯! Okay not just a system. He used to be from another species and ended up linking his consciousness to the ship, which turned into a system. He stayed with Yu Xi through thick and thin, literally becoming the anchor in all her apocalypse missions. And honestly? It worked. Their bond felt real and built up beautifully.

Also, shoutout to every “family” she had across the arcs—sister, daughter, mom, dad—each relationship felt precious. They didn’t weigh her down or exist just for the drama. They helped her grow, survive, and feel human in all that chaos. ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Liang Mian though… I really think she deserved her own novel. She was loyal, clever, and helped the main couple so much. Give that girl her flowers 💐 (and maybe a spin-off? Please?!).

And don’t get me started on the Endless Train arc. It was the longest one and so good. You know those stories that feel like metaphors for life, greed, and humanity’s choices? Yeah, that. It was clever, emotional, and kinda made me question my own values.

Was the ending happy? Kinda. I think it was hopeful, and that’s enough. I’d love a sequel where they return to a few worlds to tie up loose ends (just saying 👀).

So yeah. Will I read it again? Heck yes.

Do I recommend it? Absolutely.

Is it perfect? Not really, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s gripping, clever, and full of heart. 💥💖
