Mother Yin watched the scene before her, then glanced at her son, who was still staring down at his phone, and nearly couldn’t catch her breath in shock.

This child… how could he be so calm!

Even after being “robbed at home,” he could still focus on his phone…

Mother Yin clutched her chest, her face flushed, and her breathing became a bit rapid.

Father Yin was startled and quickly stepped forward to support her. “Honey, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

Leng Keyan couldn’t care about being angry anymore and hurriedly poured a cup of warm water and handed it over.

“Mom, drink some water first, take it slow,” he said carefully.

Mother Yin took the cup, drank two sips, and finally felt a bit of relief.

Seeing Leng Keyan’s anxious expression, her heart felt even heavier.

What a good child—so considerate toward her, and yet someone had just tried to poach him right in front of her eyes.

And her own son, that blockhead, had shown absolutely no reaction.

Truly, the eunuch is anxious when the emperor isn’t!

Fuming inside, she glared sharply at Yin Siyao.

Yin Siyao finally finalized his plan, lifted his head from the phone, and met his mother’s furious gaze.

The woman, seeing this, smiled awkwardly, her tone apologetic:

“Uh… big sister, I was too forward. It’s just that your two sons are both so outstanding, I felt drawn to them, so I…”

She hesitated over her words, then continued, “…I might have overstepped. Please, don’t be angry.”

Mother Yin waved her hand, wanting to say something but unsure where to start.

Two sons?

Yin Siyao finally sensed something was wrong.

He put away his phone and looked at the woman. “Two sons? What do you mean?”

The woman was momentarily stunned, then hurriedly explained: “Earlier, I asked if your younger brother has a girlfriend because I wanted to introduce my daughter to him.”

“I thought… since you already have a partner, your younger brother should be single, right? If it works out, we’d become in-laws!”

Yin Siyao looked at Leng Keyan, whose eyes carried a mix of frustration and grievance, and back at his mother’s nearly panicked expression, finally understanding what had just happened.

After a two-second pause, he said: “He’s still young, and he’s about to start graduate school. Everything should focus on his studies first.”

The woman clearly didn’t understand: “Being a student doesn’t matter! Lots of graduate students study while starting their careers!”

“My daughter wouldn’t mind; they could start dating casually. Once he graduates, they could have kids in the future! Love and career both thriving—what’s wrong with that?”

Mother Yin: “……”

Father Yin: “……”

Leng Keyan: “……”

Yin Siyao frowned slightly, his tone colder than before: “I will not allow him to date anyone else.”

The woman protested: “How can you be so dictatorial as an older brother? Cutting off your younger brother’s romantic prospects isn’t right, is it?”

She turned to Leng Keyan enthusiastically and waved. “Tell me, would you like to meet my daughter?”

Leng Keyan: “Thank you, but I’m really focusing on my studies right now.”

He paused, then added: “Besides, I always listen to my brother.”

Mother Yin silently gave Leng Keyan a thumbs-up.

Such a sensible child.

Yin Siyao stood up. “Dad, Mom, let’s go home.”

The girl quietly said “thank you,” sneaked a glance at Leng Keyan, then quickly looked away.

Back home that evening, after taking a shower, Leng Keyan surprisingly didn’t go to Yin Siyao’s side but went straight to the study.

Yin Siyao waited in the master bedroom for a while but he didn’t show up.

He got up and walked to the study door. “What are you up to now?”

Leng Keyan didn’t turn around, voice muffled: “Reading.”

Yin Siyao reached out and ruffled his soft hair. “Alright, come out and sleep.”

Leng Keyan didn’t move, voice even more muffled: “You said to focus on studies, didn’t you? I’m reading.”

Yin Siyao raised an eyebrow, unwilling to admit it: “When did I say that?”

“In the ward.”

Leng Keyan finally turned to look at him, his eyes full of grievance and accusation. “You said it as if we have nothing to do with each other.”

Yin Siyao bent down, meeting his eyes.

His voice softened: “What do you want me to say? That we’re together?”

Leng Keyan didn’t reply.

Yin Siyao suddenly found it a little funny.

He reached out, pulled him into his arms, voice even softer: “Don’t be mad anymore.”

Hugged in his arms, Leng Keyan let out all the pent-up grievance from the afternoon.

He leaned forward, rubbing his head against him, and said softly: “I thought you didn’t want me anymore.”

Yin Siyao looked down at the fluffy head in his arms and sighed lightly.

“When did I ever say I didn’t want you?”

Leng Keyan’s muffled voice came again: “You don’t let others know I’m your partner.”

Yin Siyao’s gaze softened. “Mom has accepted us, but do you think it’s appropriate to make her admit in front of strangers that her son is gay?”

Leng Keyan opened his mouth to argue but realized he couldn’t refute him.

Yin Siyao pulled him closer, lowering his voice: “I’m sorry for letting you feel wronged.”

“Then… coax me a little,” he said, soft and clingy, “If you coax me, I won’t be angry.”

Yin Siyao looked at him with a smile.

He bent down and kissed him on the lips.

“There, all better. Come on, sleep.”

Leng Keyan, taking advantage of it, muttered softly: “I almost got kidnapped, and you were still looking at lab results.”

Yin Siyao couldn’t help but laugh, then kissed him again. “My fault. From now on, when you’re by my side, I’ll only look at you.”

Leng Keyan paused, then grinned.

He jumped up and followed him to the bedroom.

At the door, he suddenly grabbed his hand: “Yin Teacher.”

“Hmm?”

“From now on, you can say those things outside.”

He looked at him seriously. “But when we’re home, you have to coax me more. Otherwise, I’ll take it seriously and feel bad.”

Yin Siyao looked at him, heart softening, and gave him a French deep kiss.

Over ten minutes later, breathless, he said: “From now on, pay attention, coax me like this often, okay?”

Leng Keyan nodded in satisfaction, returning to his carefree self.

Seeing him like this, Yin Siyao’s amusement melted into tenderness.

On the bed, Leng Keyan rubbed against his chest, whispering: “I know you have boundaries.”

“It’s just… I was too angry earlier. That woman kept pushing her daughter, and I couldn’t get mad…”

“I was afraid if I lost my temper, your parents wouldn’t like me…”

“Dummy, our Yan Yan is so well-behaved and soft—who wouldn’t like him?”

Leng Keyan was overjoyed by this, nuzzling against him. “Yin Teacher, I still want kisses…”
