After an incredible journey, Through the Farming Fields Full of Spring has officially come to an end!
Synopsis: Tang Chunming was in front of his father’s grave when he took a nosedive and, with a swish, found himself in ancient times—a world where only men and gers existed, but no women. He believed he could live a happy and peaceful life, but reality had other plans. Because soon after, he discovered he was pregnant. Was this fate’s way of punishing him for failing to fulfill his father’s wish for a grandchild?
As I turn the final page, I find myself wishing for just a little more—more about the children and how they grew under Tang Chunming’s influence, more about his interactions with the empire’s most powerful figures, and especially, more about the emperor. Was he always this kind yet firm ruler, or did age and medicine shape his wisdom over time? Did Prince Zhou or his descendants ever attempt rebellion, or did they eventually find peace within the imperial court?
Tang Chunming’s business ventures were fascinating, and I can’t help but wonder if he introduced anything else that revolutionized his world. And then there’s his space—a mysterious and intriguing aspect of his life that I would have loved to see explored further.
Even with these lingering thoughts, I am truly satisfied with this journey. It’s a story that will stay with me for a long time. And if somewhere in the vast universe, this world truly exists, I hope they all remain happy and blessed.
Thank you to everyone who joined me in reading this novel! Let’s continue our love for stories that transport us to different times and places. Until the next adventure!

Thank you for finishing this! I admit at times I was confused like sometimes genders or ages seemed inconsistent— but it was overall enjoyable! I would've liked to see Ah-Lin make it to adulthood— would he marry out or in? That's their favourite baby after all! (I know which one is more likely)
Also all I kept thinking was— how screwed is the family and the village going to be when TCM dies? Are the land and water permanently changed by the spirit water? Will it begin to fade eventually? Worse— is the potency tied to TCM's life? I'd expected that he'd start experimenting at some point in if it can be stored— the same questions apply; is there an expiration? I was hoping one of the kids would somehow inherit their own space but I guess since that ain't the proper brand of "Tang" blood.... 😬
