Robes fluttered, blood flowed like a torrent, and piercing screams rose one after another. From time to time, bodies could even be seen flying through the air.

Ji Yi grabbed a man by the collar and shouted coldly, “Were you the one who threw me just now?”

Before the man could even answer, Ji Yi seized him by the back of his clothes with one hand and by the waistband with the other, hoisting him straight into the air—then bang!—he slammed him hard onto the ground.

The man saw stars, his vision spinning. Before he could even open his eyes, he felt himself lifted into the air again. What kind of monstrous strength was this?!

Bang! Bang! Bang! A series of over-the-shoulder throws followed, leaving him sprawled on the ground, unable to get up. Fortunately, Ji Yi finally seemed satisfied and stopped. He barked again:

“Still dare to throw me?”

The man burst into tears on the spot, croaking hoarsely, “It—it wasn’t me! It was him!”
With trembling hands, he pointed at someone trying to sneak away.

The accused man heard this and immediately bolted.

Seeing that reaction, Ji Yi believed it somewhat. He stuck out his tongue awkwardly and muttered, “Sorry, wrong guy.”

Unfortunately, the apology went unheard. As soon as he finished speaking, the man’s head lolled to the side—he had already fainted.

The one who had been pointed out broke into a cold sweat. Turning around, he sprinted for his life—but after only a couple of steps, his vision darkened. Ji Yi had somehow appeared right in front of him, greeting him warmly.

“Hey, brother, where are you off to?” Ji Yi smiled like he’d just run into an old acquaintance.

“B-Brother! Please, let me go! Please!” With a thud, the man dropped to his knees in utter cowardice.

Ji Yi shrugged lightly. “Let you go? Why don’t you ask your brothers if they agree?”

“They agree! They definitely agree!” the man blurted out hastily. But when he turned his head, he froze.

Behind him—silence.
All his so-called brothers were lying flat on the ground. It didn’t look like any of them would be answering anytime soon.

The man broke down crying, wailing, “Big brother… can you go a little easier on me?”

Ji Yi didn’t respond. Instead, he grabbed the back of his collar and, without even bothering with the waistband this time, flung him out directly.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

After a few heavy impacts, the man’s face was completely unrecognizable—swollen like dough. If not for the tears still streaming helplessly down, one couldn’t even tell which part was his eyes.

With a final thud, Ji Yi casually let go. The man collapsed onto the ground, unable to rise. At that moment, he must have deeply regretted being so reckless—he should’ve just politely helped Ji Yi out of the carriage earlier!

This time, the room fell into complete silence. Like a storm sweeping through, only three people remained standing, while the ground was littered with bodies—barely recognizable as human.

Uncle Ge approached with an awkward grin, rubbing his hands. “Young master… you weren’t hurt, were you?”

Ji Yi suddenly sucked in a breath, holding his shoulder as he let out a pained sigh. Seeing his tightly furrowed brows, Uncle Ge felt a wave of panic and hurried closer.

But just as he was about to show concern, Ji Yi let out a cold laugh. “Seems like I’m not injured.”

Uncle Ge froze on the spot—wasn’t that just a dramatic pause?!

Then Ji Yi’s expression turned icy as he stared at him. “When did you realize I’d been kidnapped?”

Uncle Ge was stunned, but answered honestly, “We were on our way to pick you up when we saw you get into someone else’s carriage. It looked suspicious, so we followed.”

“So early? Then why didn’t you save me?!” Ji Yi roared.

Uncle Ge’s ears rang from the shout. Embarrassed, he hesitated before subconsciously pointing at Shopkeeper Liao. “It was Old Liao…”

“You traitor!” Shopkeeper Liao immediately jumped forward, but before he could act, Ji Yi blocked him.

Ji Yi’s voice turned cold. “Why?”

Shopkeeper Liao froze. As he looked up, he couldn’t help but shiver. Ji Yi’s face was rigid, his gaze icy, his entire body radiating a chilling, blood-soaked aura…
