“Mom, sister, I’m scared!”

But now that she was really about to be sent away, Zhu Jie suddenly put on a delicate, fragile expression, clinging to both Zhu Laotai and Zhu Shishi’s hands, refusing to let go.

“It’s okay, your father will definitely protect you!” Zhu Laotai quickly reassured her.

Yet Zhu Jie’s crying only grew more intense, her tears falling like pear blossoms in the rain. “No, I’m scared. Mom, sister, please go with me! If I have to go to that place alone, my heart really can’t take it!”
