But as soon as he finished speaking, Huaihua suddenly cried out in alarm. She hurriedly covered her mouth, looking like a child who had done something wrong, and lowered her head in embarrassment.

Doctor Sun looked at her and said coldly, “You’re the one who gave them the medicine?”

“No, no, it’s not drugging anyone!” Huaihua hurriedly explained. “I just thought they were working too hard, so I made them some tonic soup. When my brothers got married, my mother also gave them this recipe.”

But Zhu Jie, her face flushed red, said to Huaihua beside her, “Little sister, help me back to my room first. Let’s not disturb your brother and Doctor Sun while they talk.”
