Zhu Jie was sitting in the room, absentmindedly counting strands of her own hair, when she suddenly heard a faint sound outside, as if someone were stepping through the snow.
Her ears immediately perked up as she listened carefully. The footsteps came right up beneath the window, then suddenly stopped. On the yellowed window paper, two large heads were clearly outlined.
Ah, they were eavesdropping by the window! Fine—then she’d give them a good show to listen to!
At that moment, Ji Yi was sitting at the end of the bed, staring blankly into space, lost in thought. Suddenly his vision blurred, as if someone had lunged at him.
He had just raised his hand, ready to strike, when that person enthusiastically wrapped their arms around his neck and began making soft “mm-hmm” noises while burrowing into his chest.
“What are you trying to do?” Ji Yi stared wide-eyed in disbelief. Wasn’t she the one who had disdained putting on an act in front of him?
But Zhu Jie said openly, “Didn’t your father want you to take care of me? I want that too. Come on!”
Pfft! Ji Yi nearly choked on his own saliva.
No way. Was this woman really that desperate? Had her brain short-circuited again?
Before he could recover, Zhu Jie had already puckered up and started making loud kissing noises—mwah, mwah! The sounds were thunderous, though her lips never actually touched Ji Yi’s face. It was all just clever positioning.
Ji Yi rolled his eyes skyward. Since when did this kind of thing come with fake acting?
He angrily tried to push Zhu Jie off as she climbed onto him, but unexpectedly she was even stronger. With one shove she pinned him down and began moving in an irregular rhythm, wriggling over him like a frog crawling around.
“Get off me!” Ji Yi cursed under his breath.
Zhu Jie leaned close to his ear and whispered, “Your mother is watching outside. Perform well, or it’ll ruin your lifelong reputation.”
“The hell—my lifelong reputation has already been ruined by you!” Ji Yi glared furiously at the shameless woman above him.
Before he could finish speaking, Zhu Jie suddenly cried out even louder than him, “Mm… brother, don’t! Mm… brother, yes!”
Her voice was so loud that it completely drowned out Ji Yi’s furious shout.
What kind of situation was this?!
Watching Zhu Jie enthusiastically performing on top of him while making such disgusting noises, Ji Yi’s veins bulged with anger. His hands clenched into fists as he prepared to swing at her head.
Was he planning to knock her back to her senses again?
Unfortunately for him, before his fist could land, Zhu Jie suddenly rolled off him and collapsed onto the bed, lying there weakly.
Just as Ji Yi was about to get up and curse that shameless woman, whispers with barely concealed laughter sounded outside the window.
“That’s it already? Isn’t that too fast?”
“Mother, is Erhan not capable or something?”
“Maybe it’s his first time. I’ll have his father teach him again later.”
“No way! That kind of thing can be taught? I remember when my man had his first time—he was stronger than a bull!”
Listening to the vulgar chatter outside, the veins on Ji Yi’s forehead nearly burst with rage. But to his shock, the two women outside started giggling lewdly—and the woman beside him joined in as well.
Clearly Zhu Jie had heard their conversation too. She had warned him earlier, hadn’t she? His lifelong reputation was gone!
She couldn’t help laughing.
Seeing Ji Yi’s furious glare, Zhu Jie even cheerfully winked at him, as if saying: See? I told you—this really concerns your lifelong reputation.
But the next moment, Zhu Jie couldn’t laugh anymore.
Because she suddenly saw Ji Yi’s body tense as he abruptly flipped over and pinned her beneath him.
W-what was he trying to do? Was he actually going to make it real?
“Shout louder!” Ji Yi’s low, furious voice exploded beside her ear. “If you don’t, I’ll make it real.”
Anyone who didn’t howl at a time like this would be an idiot.
Zhu Jie immediately screamed like a frightened porcupine. “Ah~ mm~!”
“It started again?” Old Madam Ji and Sister-in-law You had just been about to head back when the rising cries from the room suddenly sounded even louder than before.
Sister-in-law You quickly pressed herself against the window to peek inside. “Oh! Erhan’s on top now! Looks like he’s finally figured things out!”
Old Madam Ji also leaned over, grinning from ear to ear. “Good! It’s good that he’s figured it out!”
