Sister-in-law You, seeing that Zhu Jie was even directing her from the side, felt her anger—already simmering from being stuck—flare up even more. She was practically on fire all over!

She let out a long, furious shout, “Ah~!” filled with all the wrath in her chest.

“Sister-in-law, you—you hit Meizi?” Zhu Jie exclaimed next, her voice even sharper than Ji Mei’s, echoing through the mountains.

Blood slowly trickled down Ji Mei’s forehead, flowing along her eyebrows, turning her eyes red. It kept streaming down her cheeks, mixing with her tears, staining half her face bright red.

Seeing Ji Mei’s terrifying appearance, even Zhu Jie couldn’t help but widen her eyes. Goodness—this was even harsher than her own attempt!
