“Hmph!” She let out a cold snort. Thinking of her not-so-ample bosom and her slightly plump waist, Ling Ruoxi ground her teeth and cursed Luo Mingyu behind her—hoping that the man would be crushed to death beneath that pair of jade-like breasts!

Watching her storm off again in an unreasonable huff, Luo Mingyu truly didn’t know what to say. His pent-up desire had nowhere to go, and that little woman had been chased away by the famous courtesan right in front of him.

“Miss Yuanyuan, what can I do for you?” Luo Mingyu asked with a faint smile. Truth be told, these past few days he’d been bored and, coupled with his quarrel with Ling Ruoxi, had only gone to Yuanyuan’s place to pass the time. Even a beauty like Ling Ruoxi wouldn’t be considered exceptionally stunning on Qiongyu Immortal Island—what captivated people was her aloof, unworldly temperament.

Compared to Ling Ruoxi, Yuanyuan was inferior by several degrees and even less to his taste. More importantly, what he liked was Ling Ruoxi’s innocence. Though she cursed shamelessly with her mouth, in reality she was still just a little woman who didn’t even know how to please a man.

By contrast, the woman before him, born in a brothel, had long been exposed to all kinds of sordid things. She had been trained in every way of serving men. Though she had never actually crossed the final line with any man, she put on an act of purity and cuteness that instead made Luo Mingyu feel repelled.

He didn’t like brothels. He didn’t like famous courtesans or prostitutes. And he especially disliked women who, upon first meeting him, dared to drug him with an aphrodisiac!

“Young Master Luo, aren’t you coming back to Yuanyuan’s tonight?” She lifted her head pitifully, tears glistening in her beautiful eyes. That fragile look—no man could refuse it.

Luo Mingyu rubbed his temples helplessly and smiled indifferently. “Didn’t I already tell you? I’m used to freedom and hate restraints. If I stay in one place too long, I move on. Your place was nothing more than somewhere I went to have a bit of fun.”

“Then come back with Yuanyuan,” she pleaded. “We can still have fun there. We… we still have so many things we haven’t done. Young Master Luo, you’re the best man I’ve ever met. Other men would have pounced on me long ago, but you’re different. You are—”

“Stop.” He raised a hand to block her as she stepped toward him, lifting a brow with a smile. “Don’t start saying I’m some noble gentleman. Whether cultivators or immortals, as long as they’re men, none can resist women. I’ll admit it—in Northern Ning, you are indeed beautiful. Beautiful in nothing but this skin of yours, without any personal aura of your own.”

“From the first time we met in the brothel, you already knew who I was, didn’t you? No one wears clothes made of silkworm silk from the heavens. And then you slipped me that aphrodisiac—hoping to secure a powerful backer, right? Unfortunately, you miscalculated. With looks like yours and intelligence like yours, there are plenty of women like that on Qiongyu Immortal Island. I hate women who throw themselves into a man’s bed. Don’t you know? Men like to conquer women—make them willingly surrender.”

The corner of his lips curled upward. Thinking of that temperamental woman who always ended up begging for mercy, wearing that irresistible expression—an allure no man could withstand—his blood began to boil.

Suppressing the surging heat within him, Luo Mingyu still wore a faint smile as he looked at the woman before him.

“No, Young Master Luo, I’m not that kind of woman.” Yuanyuan’s face darkened. She staggered back weakly and shook her head. “All Yuanyuan asks is that you remember me. Since you’re unwilling to return with me, then… give me one last hug, all right?”

Tears slid down from the corners of her eyes as she opened her arms, trembling, and looked at him.

A hug? Luo Mingyu reached out and drew Yuanyuan into his arms, lightly holding her by the waist. But at that very moment, the woman suddenly rose on her tiptoes and, like a little bird, gently kissed his cheek.

Covering her face, the woman who had stolen that kiss immediately ran downstairs.

“Damn it!” A branch snapped sharply in someone’s grip. Standing in the corridor, Ling Ruoxi was already blazing with rage. Her eyes flashed with hatred. To hell with explanations—what explanation was even needed? The scene was right there in front of her. Did she really need to wait until they were rolling around in bed before she’d believe it?

“Hey—Ruoxi, Ruoxi, listen to my explanation!” Still carrying Yuanyuan’s perfume on him, Luo Mingyu touched his cheek. When his gaze met that woman who looked ready to explode, it was as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over him. He immediately took off after her.

Ling Ruoxi wasn’t about to listen. She must have been out of her mind to come back and hear him out. And what did she see? The two of them hugging so closely, that woman even kissing his face—and he looked like he was enjoying it. Hardly the look of someone being forcibly kissed!

“Hey, hey, Ruoxi, listen to me…” He hurriedly grabbed her wrist. As she turned back, Luo Mingyu spread his arms, about to pull her into a hug.

How could Ling Ruoxi forget such a familiar move? She lashed out with a fierce kick, landing squarely between his legs. “Get lost! I must be crazy to listen to your explanation. Don’t come looking for me—if you need to vent, go find your little Yuanyuan or whatever. Best if you die buried in her chest. Hmph!”

“Damn it—you really went for it…” Clutching his manhood in agony, Luo Mingyu nearly dropped to his knees. That kick had landed solidly, and the pain twisted his face. Even his curse turned into Ling Ruoxi’s favorite two words.

Seeing his expression truly turn wrong, Ling Ruoxi panicked. She hadn’t kicked that hard, had she? Why was he sweating from the pain?

“Hey—are you okay?” She crouched down guiltily and patted him. He just kept his head lowered, not saying a word.

Don’t tell her she’d really broken something? “Let me see!” She tugged at his arm, but couldn’t pull his hands away. Helpless, she leaned closer, her slender fingers hooking around his wrist. Her index, middle, and ring fingers rested on his pulse.

“Hmph.” The man’s lips curved upward. His scheme successful, he suddenly flipped his hand and grabbed hers, pressing it straight against his hardened length. “Feel it yourself. You kicked it like this—if it’s broken, who’s going to satisfy you? You little vixen, no mercy with your hands, and none with your feet either.”

“You—!” In an instant, Ling Ruoxi’s face flushed crimson. That despicable man held her hand against that scorching, iron-hard thing. Its size and hardness left her utterly at a loss. She tried to pull away, only for him to grip her tighter.

“You shameless bastard! Let go, Luo Mingyu!” She was on the verge of tears, yanking at her hand, only to feel it grow even harder in her grasp. Her pale face turned bright red, even her glare weak and powerless.

His heart sank as the fire in his abdomen flared hotter. That boneless little hand struggling desperately only fueled his desire further. He pressed a hand to her fragrant shoulder, his voice turning hoarse. “Stay with me tonight. Don’t go.”

“I—!” She desperately wanted to push him away, but had no strength at all. Just as she tried to refuse, the domineering man shoved her straight into the room.

“I know I may not be gentle enough,” he murmured, “but I’ll try to learn to be gentle…” He caressed her small face, lowered his head, and kissed her soft lips. Gently prying them open, he explored her mouth with barely any force at all.

“Mmm…” Her whole body trembled. Ling Ruoxi instinctively retreated, but her hand was still pinned there. The fiery kiss made her forget to breathe. She stared wide-eyed at Luo Mingyu, frozen for a long moment.

She didn’t even know when her clothes had been removed. All she knew was that this man’s skill was too good—everything happened before she realized it.

“I’ll be as gentle as I can…” Seeing her still tense, Luo Mingyu smiled softly, deliberately easing her. The subtle friction nearly made her suffocate. The woman beneath him was far too sensitive—just a light tease, and her reaction was already so intense.

He entered her slowly, keeping to his promised “gentleness.” At first, Ling Ruoxi managed to cooperate, but with that unchanging rhythm, she soon grew dissatisfied. She clung to him like an octopus, begging him to go faster.

Seeing the teasing look in his eyes, Ling Ruoxi grew bolder and even began to respond on her own. Her captivating expression and pleading voice nearly drove Luo Mingyu mad. Holding her soft waist, he thrust without restraint.

Damn it—what a beast!

If she could, Ling Ruoxi wished she could just clamp that thing off with pliers. Lamenting her weak constitution, after a night of fierce battle, her waist felt as if it were about to break. She couldn’t straighten up at all, her legs trembling even when she stood.

As for that man with the ridiculously strong physique—he was exactly the same as ever. Clearly he’d been the savage one all night, yet the next morning he was still the lofty young lord of Qiongyu, perfectly composed, not a trace of disgrace to be seen.

Was this the advantage of a combat-qi practitioner—instant recovery? Rubbing her aching waist, Ling Ruoxi lay sprawled over the table, completely unwilling to move.

“Mother, what’s wrong? You look so tired—did Father bully you?” Yimeng asked, clenching her little fists.

Luo Mingyu raised a brow and said, “Your mother begged me to bully her. If you don’t believe me, ask her.”

“Huh? That kind of thing happens?” Yizhui looked at Luo Mingyu in disbelief, then tilted his head toward Ling Ruoxi. “Mom, is what Dad said true?”

“I wonder who it was last night saying ‘faster, faster,’” Luo Mingyu said lazily, brushing back his long hair, utterly unconcerned.

Those words made Ling Ruoxi’s face burn red. She hurriedly changed the subject. “Yizhui, Yimeng—how’s your homework today? Don’t forget what your master said. If you don’t finish it and don’t improve, watch your butts!”

“Ah! I’m doomed—I haven’t memorized it yet!” Yizhui drooped his head, looking miserable.

Beside him, Yimeng patted her chest and laughed. “Memorizing texts is child’s play—I remember it after one read. What’s so hard about that? But… I hate refining pills. It gets my skirt dirty.”
