A heated chapter, proceed with caution.
Li Feng opened the hide bag to reveal small, warm yellow grains—coarse, still in their husks, with some even sporting sharp, broken-off awn tips that pricked the fingers. That was clearly wheat. Since corn had already been harvested, wheat must’ve come even earlier.
This time, Li Feng was genuinely shocked and overjoyed—this was real grain. With this, who would ever need to fear starving again?
“Ju—” In his excitement, Li Feng blurted out both brothers’ names at once. “Where did you get this stuff? Do you have more?”
It was the perfect season for sowing wheat. Corn and wheat were two complementary crops—one harvested just as the other was ready to be planted. Any delay now would seriously affect the yield, so Li Feng was eager to try cultivating it if they could get more.
“We picked this near our tribe,” Ju explained. “It doesn’t taste good. We only gather it when we don’t have any meat to eat.”
“How did you eat it?” Li Feng was baffled. Wheat—bad tasting? Wheat flour could be made into so many delicious things! Steamed buns, meat-filled buns, pastries… Just thinking about it made his mouth water.
“We just eat it directly,” Ju and Hao answered in unison. How else would you eat it?
Looking at the raw, unprocessed grains—still in husks, with spiky awns—Li Feng immediately understood. No wonder they found it unpalatable. At most, it might have a hint of sweetness, but mixed with husks, it’d barely be edible.
But with him here, that wasn’t a problem anymore. Wheat was a staple crop.
“This stuff tastes much better if you remove the husk and grind it into flour,” Li Feng explained roughly, hoping they could lead him to more of it. But since wheat harvest season had ended months ago, the remaining grains had likely either fallen off or already sprouted.
“Does your tribe still have any more?” Li Feng coaxed. “If you do, how about I trade you meat for it?”
Meat—that was the real deal for Ju and Hao. Just hearing the word got them excited. Unfortunately, they only had that small amount left.
“Everyone in the tribe has some. We haven’t been able to hunt lately, so we’ve all been eating that stuff,” they said.
It was enough to keep them from starving, but definitely not tasty the way they were eating it.
Li Feng felt like howling at the moon with joy. This was perfect. The hide bag probably held around twenty jin (about 10 kg), enough to sow an acre of land. With some mixed grains, it could probably feed a small family.
But the way Ju and Hao were eating it was a complete waste. At a time like this, wasting staple crops like this was unacceptable. Li Feng made up his mind—he had to stop them from eating it that way. He’d feed them meat for now, but he needed to talk to Li and the others to work out the details. Otherwise, it’d be hard to convince them to trade meat for mere “grass seeds.”
He sent the two boys to stay with Nuo and the others for the night and planned to discuss things with Li.
That night, Li Feng was too excited to sleep. He lay next to Li, keeping his voice low so he wouldn’t wake Baby or Mo.
“Let’s trade meat for their wheat,” he said, his voice full of excitement and hope. If their tribe could plant wheat, corn, soybeans, and other crops in the future, they wouldn’t need to hunt so desperately anymore. Animals could rest and reproduce, and they’d only need to hunt occasionally for meat.
“Wheat? That stuff’s better than meat?” Li pulled Li Feng into his arms and kissed his earlobe—his weak spot. He’d figured it out after that last time.
Li Feng still didn’t know whether his sensitivity was from this body or his soul, but he flinched involuntarily. He tried to push Li away but couldn’t move him at all. His chest was hard as stone under Li Feng’s palm. Giving up, he let the man hold him—after all, it was comfortable. And considering what they’d already done, there was no need to be shy.
“Mm, that’s wheat. It tastes even better than corn,” Li Feng said softly. “If we manage to grow it, just planting what’s in that hide bag should yield enough to feed us, Bu, Nuo, Mo, and the baby for half a year.”
At the very least, three to five months. After all, they wouldn’t be eating it every single day.
“As long as you think it’ll work, then that’s good. And if it really means we won’t have to hunt so hard anymore, then that would be amazing,” Li said, hugging Li Feng even tighter. “That way we won’t have to exhaust ourselves every day, and we could see each other all the time.”
In the past, every hunting trip felt like living day-to-day, uncertain if they’d survive tomorrow. That kind of life might’ve been a test of endurance for hot-blooded men, but facing life-and-death every day would wear anyone down eventually. They just had no choice.
“Hey, don’t make it sound like we barely see each other once a year,” Li Feng rolled his eyes. “We see each other every day, morning and night, okay? It’s not like we only meet every few years — no need to act so pitiful.”
“But it still doesn’t feel like enough. Li Feng, you’re getting cuter by the day,” Li said as his hand slipped under Li Feng’s animal skin skirt.
“That’s enough, the babies are still sleeping…” Li Feng grabbed his hand and pulled it out. Seriously, ever since that, this guy had gotten bolder and more insatiable. Every day, he wanted it. If not for the lack of time and privacy, his backside would’ve probably been destroyed by now. That guy’s stamina was seriously outrageous, and the size — well, it was on a completely different level compared to his own, which left Li Feng constantly frustrated.
Why couldn’t he have transmigrated into someone like Li, with a strong body? Instead, he ended up in a weak man, practically as delicate as a woman. That guy was petty too. Compared side by side, it was a crushing blow to Li Feng’s male pride — they weren’t even in the same league.
“It’s fine, they’re asleep. Just use your hand,” Li’s voice was low and breathy.
Wait, this guy can’t be aroused already, can he? They were just talking, nothing more! Li Feng had completely forgotten that he was half-naked — bare upper body, bare thighs, just a piece of hide around his waist and a tiny pair of underwear that barely covered anything. That kind of half-covered look was often even more enticing than being fully naked. The moonlight was bright tonight too, and even if it wasn’t, the way their skin touched was already enough to stir Li’s desires.
“Why are you so impatient? What if they wake up?” In the past, they’d only ever done stuff like that when they were alone. But tonight, there were still two others in the bed — even if they were just kids, it was still awkward.
Li didn’t care about his protests. He took Li Feng’s hand and wrapped it around his arousal. Li Feng was just too shy and easily flustered. The kids didn’t know anything yet anyway.
The heat in his hand was scalding — it felt like it could burn him. Li Feng immediately let go. “What the hell is wrong with you?! We were talking about wheat! How did this suddenly turn into a heat-fest?”
“Didn’t we finish talking about that already? You said we’d trade meat for it. What else is there to say?” Li didn’t let go. Instead, he grabbed Li Feng’s manhood. “Let’s see you run now.”
Li Feng was just about to get up and go to the other side, but Li was so fast that he could even catch a fly. Fortunately, he didn’t use the strength to catch a snake, otherwise it would be a waste of time. “Just go to sleep after that, what do you want to do?” He didn’t dare to move his life in someone else’s hands, and after being held and fondled for a few times, Li Feng tragically discovered that his little brother stood up, and he actually felt it too. This is really…
What happened next was natural and logical. Although he only used his hands, Li Feng still felt that his whole body was soft and lazy after the release and he didn’t want to move. There were no tissues or handkerchiefs to wipe the body here, only animal skins, which were very uncomfortable to wipe. So they could only get up and wash with water. This way they would feel more comfortable and without the sticky feeling. Otherwise, they would not be able to sleep comfortably.
The whole room was filled with a smell that was a bit fishy but also had some other indescribable odor, which made Li Feng blush a little. The smell almost stimulated Li to do that again, but Li Feng dodged it and he quickly went to bed. What else? Whether they were going to sleep or not, the wind coming through the window slowly blew away the strong smell. The two of them released it several times, and the noise was quite loud. Especially the heavy panting that suppressed the screams and the ‘tsk tsk’ sounds from the saliva-dripping kisses… But, fortunately, this ‘little drizzle’ between the two did not wake up Mo and the baby, otherwise Li Feng would probably not let Li go to bed for a month. After Li took care of Li Feng, he hugged Li Feng and fell asleep. Baobao and Mo slept inside again this time. Li Feng carefully covered them with animal skins so that they would not catch a cold again.
Before falling asleep, Li Feng was still thinking about the scene of green wheat seedlings. It was beautiful just thinking about it. However, what made him most angry was Li’s hand that had been holding his waist. Really, this was simply hooliganism. It was like this every time. He subdued him without him knowing it, and he let him do whatever he wanted. Although he enjoys it quite a bit, the key is that he can’t succeed every time. He has a weak body to begin with, and spending every night with him is not a good thing. He will suffer from kidney deficiency and weak waist, so he has to think of a way.
What can I do? How about I talk to Nuo about it tomorrow? Well, no, he will definitely come up with some bad ideas and tease him again. I have to think carefully about what to do tomorrow, otherwise this gangster will come every day. I wanted to wake the baby up just now, but my fingers touched the soft and tender flesh. But I couldn’t bear to do it in the end. I can only “suffer” to be taken advantage of by him!
Of course, this kind of taking advantage of someone was mutual and in the end it was consensual. But Li Feng still felt a little uncomfortable. He was taken advantage of so easily, and often. He also had to feed that little brother. It was not an easy job.
Li Feng and his friends talked about this matter while having dinner the next day. They planned to talk to the tribe leader about it later. They didn’t have to go out hunting today. With so many new people joining the tribe, it was a big deal, so the tribe leader would definitely call all the tribe members to a meeting. However, before they could go out, someone came to find them.
