One piece, two pieces, three pieces, four pieces…

She counted the neat, terraced blocks of muscle on his body, feeling so at ease it was like she was dreaming.

Since it was a dream, she might as well be bold—no one would know anyway.

Was this the V-line?

Wow… so sexy.

Zhang Qiao only felt that the body beneath her fingertips was taut and firm—solid and irresistibly sexy.

She lay facing his waist, her small face turned to the side. Each shallow breath she exhaled brushed against his thighs. Lin Tianyue felt electricity surge through his limbs, like he’d been shocked.

One big hand tangled in her dark hair; even his breathing grew heavy and scorching.

The hair dryer’s low hum continued. Suddenly, the little woman who’d been “dreaming” leaned forward and puckered her lips, planting a kiss on his abs.

Holy shit!

Lin Tianyue’s scalp went numb. Zhang Qiao only felt herself lifted up, then pressed down onto the big bed behind her.

“Looking for death?!”

The man pinned her down, his tone vicious, his gaze like a beast’s—fierce and blazing.

“I’m blow-drying your hair and you keep teasing me. Talk—who taught you all this?!”

Absolutely lethal!

One big hand pinched her delicate chin; the other still twined in her glossy black hair.

The fragrance drifting from her hair teased his nose, stoking the fire inside him.

Lin Tianyue couldn’t hold back. He leaned down and bit her soft lips.

“Mmm…”

Zhang Qiao came to a bit, reaching up to push against his chest. Where her palm touched, it was frighteningly hot.

She was startled by the beastlike heat in his eyes. “Lin Tianyue, what are you doing? Hey—don’t press on the baby!”

What had just happened?

Had she been dreaming?

In the dream, she’d taken advantage of a handsome guy… and then got flipped over.

Could it be that the one she’d taken advantage of was Lin Tianyue?!

Oh my god—so embarrassing!

So it wasn’t a dream?

At this moment, Zhang Qiao had only one thought: play dumb. She couldn’t admit it.

Lin Tianyue’s breath was hot. He stole another aggressively possessive kiss from her lips.

Zhang Qiao let him have his way, but her small hands guarded her belly, reminding him again and again, “The baby…”

Lin Tianyue wasn’t actually pressing on her—of course he knew this was a special time.

But then why did this woman keep teasing him?

Did she really think he was some monk?

“You remember the baby now? Then why were you teasing me?”

He growled.

Zhang Qiao put on an innocent, aggrieved face. “I didn’t…”

Damn it!

This little seductress was denying everything now!

All at once, he rolled off her, turned off the hair dryer, then switched off the light. In the darkness, he scooped her up and pulled her tightly into his arms.

“Lin Tianyue…”

“Sleep!”

He lay on his side, his chest pressed to her back. She was petite—wrapped like this, it felt as if she were completely enclosed by his tall body, a flood of safety washing over her.

Zhang Qiao was sleepy too and didn’t feel like arguing. She let him hold her like that.

Besides, it really did feel safe. Nestled in his arms, warm and snug, she wouldn’t close her eyes only to see fire and hear screams.

Lowering her gaze, she saw that one of his big hands rested right on her belly.

As if his palm were supporting both her and the baby inside.

She reminded him again, “Sleeping is fine—but don’t move me.”

Lin Tianyue said, “Are you sleeping or not?”

If not, we’ll do something else.

Zhang Qiao hummed drowsily. After a while, she murmured softly, “Tonight… the baby moved.”

Lin Tianyue’s body stiffened. “How did it move?”

“Like a little fish swimming around…”

He pressed his palm closer, eager, but couldn’t feel a thing.

He couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed.

Yet more than that, he felt grateful—grateful that he still had his wife in his arms, and children sleeping just next door.

So he held her even tighter.

After she fell asleep, he couldn’t resist kissing her earlobe, his hoarse voice whispering, “Xiao Qiao, don’t leave me.”

Don’t leave.

Otherwise, his world would return to a stagnant pool.

Even if he could endure that cold silence before, now—he never wanted to endure it again.

The next morning, the kids woke up much earlier than the two adults.

After tossing around all night, the three little ones were starving.

Lin Jin opened his eyes, took a long moment to remember where he was, then nudged the eldest beside him. “Bro, I’m hungry.”

Lin Xun had overdone it the night before; his whole body ached. He didn’t want to move. “Mm… wait a bit…”

Lin Jin went to push Lin Ran. “Bro, I’m hungry.”

Lin Ran irritably slapped his little hand away. “Go away—let me lie down a little longer.”

Lin Jin patted his flat little belly, then craned his head toward the inner room.

It was quiet in there. He didn’t know if Aunt Qiao and his dad were awake yet.

What was Aunt Qiao doing right now?

So he hopped out of bed barefoot. Luckily, the room was carpeted—soft and cushy even without shoes.

He gently pushed open the door to the inner room, clinging to the doorframe and poking his little head inside.

“Aunt Qiao?”

Tsk—what was he seeing?!

On the snow-white bed, Aunt Qiao and his dad were hugging each other. They were so close—clearly a double bed, yet the two of them took up less than half of it.

Was the other half left for him?

He really wanted to cuddle Aunt Qiao.

So Lin Jin quietly climbed onto the bed.

But Aunt Qiao was squeezed all the way to the edge by Dad. Lin Jin could only lie down behind his dad.

No way—Aunt Qiao was so fragrant. She could only belong to him!

So Lin Jin wriggled right into the middle between them, like a little worm, inching and inching upward.

“Aunt Qiao, hug me! Dad, stop squeezing—so annoying!”

He spread his chubby arms to hug the sweet-smelling Zhang Qiao. From behind, Lin Tianyue—half asleep—suddenly felt something was off.

The Zhang Qiao in his arms kept getting wider—so wide he couldn’t even wrap one arm around her anymore.

So he shoved forward again, until he heard Lin Jin’s dissatisfied voice: “Hey! Dad, you’re squeezing me!”

Holy shit!

Lin Tianyue jolted. For a split second, he thought: Didn’t Zhang Qiao say the baby moved last night? And now it could talk this morning?!

He startled awake—and when he saw Lin Jin’s resentful little face, all doubt vanished. He smacked his youngest son on the butt and rolled aside.

“You little brat! You scared the hell out of me—I thought your brother could talk already!”

Lin Jin rubbed his sore butt and rolled his eyes at him. “You’re talking nonsense first thing in the morning. Did you drink fake booze? What brother?”

As he spoke, he hugged Zhang Qiao tightly with his little chubby arms. “Aunt Qiao, I missed you so much. Wuwuwu—I finally got to hug you.”

Last night’s scare made Lin Jin cling to Zhang Qiao even more.

In his heart, Aunt Qiao was already someone just like a mom.

Zhang Qiao vaguely heard their conversation. Brother?

She snapped her eyes open and turned around—landing right in Lin Jin’s embrace.

Lin Jin had just bathed the night before; he smelled milky and sweet, soft and adorable.

“So it’s A-Jin. Auntie missed you too.” Zhang Qiao hugged him back, reaching up to ruffle his little mushroom-cut hair.

“A-Jin, what brother were you talking about just now? Where did that brother come from?”
