Upon receiving this news, Wang Bo was instantly overjoyed. But he quickly forced himself to calm down, silently chanting in his heart: I am a politician, I am a statesman, I am a politician who remains expressionless even if Mount Tai collapses before me.
Once he steadied himself, he asked, “This is indeed a very delightful piece of news. However, I want to ask—what you need shouldn’t be breeding males and premium females, right?”
Ahmed replied, “No, those are exactly what we need.”
Wang Bo slowly shook his head. “Then that may be a pity. Perhaps Manager Leonard forgot to tell you that my ranch does not sell breeding males or the best female livestock.”
Leonard shrugged. “No, I did tell them. But our prince friend believes such things can be negotiated. For example, Safi Ranch normally doesn’t sell dairy cows, yet they sold some to Sunset Ranch.”
Wang Bo smiled. “I think that wasn’t a sale, but a test—testing my financial strength to see whether I’m qualified to cooperate with our Saudi friends.”
Ahmed took a sip of his coffee. “You’re very perceptive, Mayor Wang. We did have the intention to test you, but more importantly, we wanted to make friends with you.”
“We’ve seen the speed at which Sunset Town is developing, and we have no doubts about your financial capacity,” Fahad said.
“How about this—we go to the ranch for another visit? Some things are better discussed on-site. Isn’t a ranch owner supposed to conduct business on the ranch?”
Hearing this, Wang Bo laughed. “That makes perfect sense. Then please, distinguished guests, follow me.”
Since his visitors were wealthy tycoons—potential super partners—Wang Bo had to showcase his financial strength.
So he borrowed Bartier’s helicopter and took the tycoons for a bird’s-eye tour of the ranch from above.
“I think close-up inspection is better,” said Fahad, an environmental designer.
Wang Bo replied, “Of course, we’ll be doing a ground-level tour too. But there’s no rush—let’s start from the air.”
The two ranches together covered nearly ten square kilometers—a top-tier mega ranch even by New Zealand standards.
During the New Year, he had drawn a Level-2 Ranch Heart and used it to upgrade the second ranch, so now the pasture quality of both ranches was nearly identical.
With the Ranch Hearts regulating them, the livestock capacity far exceeded that of ordinary ranches. From above, the density of animals was almost astonishing.
Watching herds of cattle, sheep, and deer sprinting across the vast grasslands was absolutely breathtaking.
There were small hills and meadows inside the ranch. The Bull King led a herd of Simmental cattle jogging down a hillside—it looked like a rolling giant wave, surging with unstoppable momentum, as if it could overwhelm everything in its path.
The vitality carried by these cattle was something completely absent in ordinary beef cattle.
The Saudi government planned to build a super ranch, meaning these visitors had inspected many world-famous ranches—they were undoubtedly experienced.
But even so, the sight of tens of thousands of cattle thundering across the land shocked them to the core.
This was precisely why Wang Bo wanted them to see the ranch from above first—this was the ranch’s military parade!
On the ground, a herd of two to three hundred elk ran along the lakeside. They occupied a section of land to drink, only for immense hulking bodies to emerge slowly from the water—water buffalo appearing!
A herd of white yaks wandered in search of food, resembling a giant drifting cloud gliding across the grassland.
The advantage of having so many species on one ranch became fully apparent—not only spectacular, but endlessly fascinating.
After viewing the Simmental cattle, they could see the Limousin cattle; after the Limousin cattle, there were Holstein dairy cows. After cows, there were sheep; after sheep, there were deer…
As they toured, several black-necked cranes soared up from the lake, gliding gracefully across the ranch sky. These elegant birds stunned the Arabian tycoons who had never seen them before.
On the ranch grounds, wild rabbits occasionally darted out, immediately attracting the sheepdogs. The princes, upon seeing the rabbits, broke into a sprint to chase them—like a live hunting display.
After the helicopter landed, they switched to beach buggies to tour the ranch from ground level.
Across both ranches, there were no piles of cow dung or sheep droppings. While the Ranch Heart couldn’t literally dissolve them, it could enhance the land’s absorption ability, allowing the soil to take in the nutrients.
That was the true power of the Ranch Heart—like a catalyst improving every part of the ecosystem.
The pasture quality improved, grew faster, had stronger decomposition capabilities; cattle and sheep could eat and excrete freely; the more they ate, the faster they grew; the more pasture they consumed, the more room the grass had to grow…
The ranch was remarkably clean. The Arabian tycoons were astonished. Up close, they could clearly see—just from the sheen of the fur and the clarity of the animals’ eyes—how healthy they were.
Ahmed asked, “Can someone tell me why livestock we assign dedicated caretakers for are still inferior in growth and condition compared to animals you let roam freely?”
His subordinates looked embarrassed, and Wang Bo helped them out. “That’s not a fair comparison, Prince. New Zealand is a natural paradise for ranching and farming, whereas your desert is a forbidden zone for life.”
“To achieve results nearly comparable to ranching heaven within a life-restricting desert—that is truly admirable!”
Hearing this, Ahmed smiled. “It is Allah’s blessing. Under His guidance, we have merely accomplished some insignificant work.”
After the visit, he became even more determined to acquire breeding males and premium females from Sunset Ranch. They also realized that Sunset Ranch’s success was closely tied to its pasture quality, so they wanted pasture seeds as well.
Wang Bo shook his head. “If you need cattle and sheep breeds, I’m happy to supply them. As long as Sunset Ranch’s production can keep up, I’ll help however I can. But the breeding males—I cannot sell. They are the foundation of Sunset Ranch!”
“Then why don’t you at least listen to our offer?” Ahmed said, eyeing those powerful bulls and rams with great interest.
Wang Bo shrugged. “To be honest, Prince, I’m not very interested in your offer.”
“Simmental, Brahman, Australian Shorthorn, Angus—one million NZD per breeding bull.
Charolais and Limousin—1.5 million NZD per breeding bull.
Premium cows at half price.
At least one hundred bulls of each breed, and over a thousand cows!”
Upon hearing the offer, Wang Bo sucked in a sharp breath of cold air!
This is what you call a tycoon—
Compared to this, how dare Wang Bo even call himself rich? That would be an insult to the word!
Before he could recover, Ahmed dropped another bombshell:
“And we can also invest in building an airport for Sunset Town!”
