HLM – Chapter 862 Zhuang Ding Really Went for It

Wang Bo was here worrying—what if a volcano actually appeared? Meanwhile, over there, Bowen and the young couple eagerly began digging holes to enjoy the hot springs.

The young man asked him, “Sir, is it okay to dig here?”

Because this was by the lakeside beach, essentially a resort area, and according to New Zealand rules, nothing in a resort is allowed to be damaged.

Wang Bo forced a wry smile. “It’s fine here, but I want to know—what if you dig and end up uncovering a volcano? Or magma?”

The young man laughed heartily. “How’s that possible? Dig up magma? Only if a volcano was about to erupt and I happened to disturb the surface layer. But if a volcano were about to erupt, it would be too late even if we ran now.”

“You’re really fearless. Go ahead and dig.”

After digging for a while, the young woman got tired and flopped down to rest, chatting with Wang Bo.

Wang Bo asked, “How did you discover there was a hot spring here?”

She shrugged. “Actually, it wasn’t us—it was my dog, Prince Charlie. He’s a labrador who likes warmth. When we were walking him on the beach, he stopped here and lay down.”

“Yes, we tested it a bit and realized the temperature was unusual here,” the young man added.

“Where’s the dog?”

“Look, in the water!”

Wang Bo turned and saw a cream-and-yellow labrador happily swimming around. A few cormorants surfaced, and the dog shot forward like a speedboat.

This reminded Wang Bo of Zhuang Ding. He had little Hani bring Zhuang Ding over—after all, it was nice to have a playmate.

Seeing him sitting idle, Bowen handed him a shovel to help dig.

Bowen even had a plan: “Dig deep here, shallow there; I’m thinking of shaping it like a boat. Cool, right?”

Wang Bo replied weakly, “Yeah, super cool!”

Once Zhuang Ding arrived, he was full of energy. True to Wang Bo’s expectations, he immediately dove into the lake.

Labradors are friendly, cute, and smart dogs—they like making friends. Seeing Zhuang Ding, the adorable lab swam over.

Zhuang Ding spotted him too. Wang Bo swore, in that instant, Zhuang Ding’s dog eyes were as wide as light bulbs!

Seeing the pretty lab, the mastiff transformed into a “destroyer,” splashing through the water.

The lab barked happily, wanting to play, but Zhuang Ding, with his big paw, pressed down on the lab’s head, then circled behind and literally mounted him!

The lab was pressed underwater, frightened—he liked swimming but not being submerged.

So the dog wailed at the surface, scrambling to the shore with all four limbs.

Zhuang Ding eagerly followed, pressing down as he went. The lab’s female owner was terrified. “Prince! Prince, let go of my Prince!”

This gave Wang Bo energy. He was also scared. “Zhuang Ding, holy crap, are you insane?! Let that poor guy go! He’s a male, just like you!”

The young woman turned and said, “Impossible. Our Prince is a beautiful female!”

Wang Bo twitched. “You named her Prince Charlie… and she’s female? You’re kidding, right?”

She argued confidently, “Who says a female dog can’t be called Prince? Besides, she doesn’t understand the meaning—names are just symbols.”

While she debated Wang Bo, her boyfriend shouted, “Moli, can you pay more attention to our kid? Damn it, stop rambling and get him out of the water!”

Wang Bo signaled him to calm down. “My dog listens well. Watch me—Zhuang Ding, come back to Daddy!”

Zhuang Ding glanced at him, then continued happily pressing on the lab. He pushed down in the water, making the lab swallow water multiple times.

Wang Bo was furious. “You little brat, three days without punishment and you go wild?!”

“Zhuang Ding, get out here! Are you trying to skip dinner tonight?! Quick! One, two, thr—”

Zhuang Ding immediately swam to shore, ignoring the dripping water, and ran to Wang Bo in three quick steps, sitting innocently on the sand.

The lab struggled ashore, looking battered as if it had been trampled.

Wang Bo apologized. “Sorry, you two. My dog is a bit unruly. Don’t get me wrong—he’s not crazy, he’s just playing. He’s not actually trying to do anything…”

Before he finished, the young woman pointed behind him in horror.

Wang Bo turned and saw Zhuang Ding mounted on Prince Charlie, happily wagging around, her little rear moving like a motor.

He prayed that, like three years ago, Zhuang Ding was just playing and nothing serious was happening.

But he was fooling himself. From Prince Charlie’s expression, it was clear this time, Zhuang Ding was serious.

Yet the lab didn’t resist much—it likely got scared from swallowing water, not because she opposed Zhuang Ding.

Feeling hopeless, Wang Bo quietly asked Bowen, “Does New Zealand law have anything about forcibly mating pets? If a lawsuit happens, can Lawyer Mueller handle it?”

Bowen didn’t answer—he took out his phone and started filming while laughing.

Wang Bo pushed him, then tried to drag Zhuang Ding away.

The young man held him back. Wang Bo apologized, “I’ll definitely handle this! On my land, nothing like this can happen!”

The young man said, “Why handle it? This is perfect. Prince Charlie is two and a half, ready to be a mom. If the dad is Zhuang Ding, we think it’s a good outcome.”

“Are you serious?”

“Of course. This is Zhuang Ding—God’s Ear, the most powerful dog in New Zealand. He’s also sensible and has excellent genes,” the young woman said.

Bowen nodded. “Boss, why panic? This kind of thing between male and female isn’t abnormal. Look, these two cuties are enjoying themselves.”

“Besides, boss, Zhuang Ding is quite valuable now. Many kennels want him for breeding. Honestly, you could even charge for this.”

The young man laughed. “Don’t do that. We can’t ruin the pure love between these two kids.”

Wang Bo: “…”
