Chapter 16 The Scandal of In-Law Yu Xing

However, when she entered the office, Xu Chengyan was nowhere to be seen.

Pushing it open, she immediately heard the “shhh” sound of running water.

According to Ruan Yaoyao’s experience, the ointment had to be applied thickly and couldn’t be allowed to dry. So whenever the wound dried, she reapplied it, waiting for the family doctor to arrive.

Once the family doctor checked him and prescribed medication, Ruan Yaoyao finally relaxed.

After hesitating a bit, she advised him to go home and rest.

After all, the burn didn’t look serious, but caution was needed. At home, with family around, he could be properly cared for.

But Xu Chengyan didn’t want to. Just thinking of Li Tingting made him fear going home and having Ruan Yaoyao “watch the drama”—there was no way he’d return.

Ruan Yaoyao looked disappointed: “Alright, suit yourself.”

She returned home directly.
